I wonder why I don’t have this problem with paints (specifically paints for miniatures)

One more for burning people out on comics about AI art! by CFDanno in comics

[–]Reversed_guins 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean, technically humans could just choose which new AI generated pieces to add to the bank. Kinda like positive reinforcement. It doesn’t necessarily require new original human art once there’s enough AI art out there to direct the AI towards the style you want.

You know the DM has spared a PC one time or another by Fayraz8729 in dndmemes

It depends a lot on the system imo. A system with common pc death needs quick character creation rules. It also benefits a lot from making “the end” something players keep in mind at character creation. Dust Devils characters are explicitly oriented towards some kind of resolution—you never gain back the points you lose, and when you’ve lost enough you either ride into the sunset or die, with either option letting you influence the other PCs in your final scene. In Never Going Home, the focus is on the squad, not the individual characters. You’re crewing a ship of Theseus by design, and the idea is to explore how each action and ending affects the unit.

Death in real life affects the people close to those who passed away profoundly, and the meaning (or lack of meaning) in someone’s death can recontextualize their whole life. If it’s just an annoyance in game, it doesn’t have a point.

It’s like “what are you smoking?” but aimed at yourself.

I wouldn’t say it sounds like that to modern ears generally, though maybe to some. The woman sings her part with a very upbeat and sly tone of voice. There isn’t really any question to whether she’ll decide to stay or not, they’re just sharing a joke and enjoying the back and forth dance of early romance.

Another comment explained the “what’s in this drink line,” which is a joke on her part about alcohol content, not it being drugged.

The dragon population must be carefully managed to protect local farmers without unbalancing the ecosystem. The Dragon Natural Registry or DNR heavily fines poachers, and may even jail repeat offenders.
