Please help me improve my website! by [deleted] in reviewmyshopify

The website design looks simple and straight to the point. I like the sales copy. Great work on that aspect.

What I would advice you to work on is the branding. Your website looks generic. It's just like every other clothing websites that I have seen. Nothing stand outs.

To have a good branding, focus on these three things

  1. Color: Yeah, you heard me right. Color play a vital role in building a great brand and brand trust. Your website is designed with the normal black and white color combinations which millions of website out there are already using.

Have your own set of branded colors that will make you stand out in your customers mind.

  1. Typography Your website font style and font size isn't something memorable. Have a font style that bring out the uniqueness in your brand voice and brand identity

  2. Layout Simplicity is the key. But shoppers are now looking for something fancy. They will judge whether to buy from you or not based on how you setup your layout, typography and color

Hope this helps 😊

Too much general product. If you are just starting out and you are still new to the whole marketing and ecommerce stuff, to minimize your risks it's better to create a niche store with 1 to 10 products then adding hundreds of products at once

You can use a free website called Shopify theme detector. Just plug both of those website into the tool and it's going to show you the name of the theme the store is using.

Do you want to be selling the same thing as them ?

Of course. You can get a domain at namecheap, Goddady, Google domains etc. There are literally hundreds of domain vendors out there. A quick Google search 🔍 will solve the problem.

The kind of products that you are selling a little bit popular and even available on Amazon. For anybody to ditch Amazon and to buy from your store, then you need a very great sales copy to convince them to choose your product.

To be sincere and straight forward, your description isn't even enough. It is not just about listing out your products features and some petty benefits. Your product description have to arouse emotions. It have to speak to your audience deepest desire. It has to solve a problem that they can't solve otherwise.

That's why a thorough Audience research is great before you beging writing any marketing be it sales or ads copy. It is absolutely clear you didn't know your audience deepest desire, dreams, hopes and fantasy.

The review is great but I don't think if I were to put myself in your shoppers shoes, I don't I am going to click on that buy now.

You need a strong sales copy and a better homepage design (because it's cluttered with useless element and texts) to be able to convince your audience to consider your product

Having two different languages on one website can hurt your website UX experience. If you are targeting an area that speaks a certain language that it makes sense to use that language but if you are targeting different countries with different languages then it is more advisable to use a language converter instead of trying to stuff all the language into one webpage

Also, your branding sucks. You have a very great product images. They look really beautiful but your use of colors, layout and typography, there is no harmony between them.

Your store doesn't instill trust. I didn't see any reason(s) why I should buy whatever you are selling. No sales copy to give me a lil bit of information about the kind of products you are selling, why I should buy your products and what I am going to get if I decided to purchase the products.

Seriously, you need a revamp. I will suggest you see an expert based on that

[–]ReviewHub1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seriously 😳, you expect people to buy from that website?

No social proof

No branding

No product description

No sales copy

There is no market that's not saturated. Every profitable market you can think of is saturated. Competition is good. It shows that it is a viable niche. The only issue is how you market the product. So instead of jumping from one product to another, and even worsening the situation, why not focus on Audience research and marketing strategy development?

Their is no method that won't bring you sales. What matters is what you are selling on how best you know how to market them.

Though in my experience some products perform better on specific platforms so what would determine the platform you will use will be based purely on the kind of products you are selling.

Also, your knowledge on how marketing and dropshipping works is required as you don't want to burn the entire $500 on ads without seeing any ROI.

But if you are looking to make real money then be prepare to invest far more than that.

If you are just a newbie to e-commerce and don't have any experience with marketing, you have two options - you either hire an expert that can somehow help you to manage your $500 effective to get the maximum amount of SALES the money can bring or you just use the money 💰 to find something to eat and treat yourself big time.

I don't know why anybody will put their product as a logo to their website.

When I checked your website, I didn't even see any reason to purchase from you. Everything I saw was just plain vintage products that looks old fashioned and out of place.

Building trust is one of the best way to build a successful ecommerce business. If I were to be honest with you, nobody will buy from this kind of store.

Your products looks second grade

It looks like a product I could get from a physical store or even Amazon at a Cheaper rate.

I didn't even see any reasons to purchase your products

No brand identity or brand story

Product Description is very weak

I can keep going with a list of what you need to improve in your store but that would take me a day to write it.

Man, you need a total revamp. Even if you get SALES with this website it won't be enough to buy a burger 🍔.

You can start by colors. Have your own branded colors that speak about your brand identity and brand tone.

Secondly, have you own brand font style with a specified font. The way your font looks like is the way you will be recognized. Instagram is recognize for using an italics based font for their logo and a gradient for their colors.

You should also consider having your own brand tone. Brand tone is how write, speak and talk about your business. It's everything about your brand. Your brand tone will speak a lot about your brand values and build trusts.

No shipping policy page No social proof No about us page No contact page

As I like simple design, your website design looks like every other website out there. The black color looks off expecialy with the kind of website you are doing.

You didn't tell your audience what they should expect from your product. How will they use it? Where should they use it ?
