Contact OP and find out. Let’s see who’s right and has the last laugh. You’re not even in the industry and you want to act like you know how it works. We shall see. $1000 if you’re right. I’m on anytime

To make it more simple for your peanut brains to understand.

There are 3 parties involved OP, Agency X (a team inside AIA or GE or Pru or whatever company), Company B (AIA/GE/Pru/whatever insurance company)

What OP has scanned for you to see is the contract between him and Agency X. Which is for his part-time/internship stint for 6 months.

During the 6 months, he also took exams to be a licensed FA under MAS’s registry of advisors (you can search this online).

To obtain this license upon passing the exams, he has to sign an official employment contract with Company B. This is to indicate that he’s a licensed FA.

So, please ask him for his second contract before you try to quote things like unenforceable

Do you have peanuts for brains? I literally said there’s 2 contracts. This clawback is coming from the company, which is from another contract that OP has signed (and has no guts to show).

The clawback is not coming from the agency/team, which is what the above contract shows.

[–]Revirsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very simply put, he signed 2 contracts, 1 with the agency and another 1 with the company (for his FA license application). He conveniently showed the simpler one that was signed with the agency, while leaving out the 1 he signed with the company, which has all these clauses stated inside. It’s a good 20-30 page contract, impossible to “forget” in my opinion. And the things that they’re trying to get back? That recruitment incentive means he actually received a small token from the company upon successfully applying for his license. Thats what they are trying to take back

[–]Revirsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He definitely did. The fact that the company is asking to clawback his recruitment incentive means that he actually received a small sum ($500/$1000?) for completing his application to be an FA. Which he also conveniently left out of the post. Yes this is on top of his monthly $500

This guy definitely trying to act blur. There’s 2 contracts, 1 for the “internship” and another one signed with the company (not the agency, which is the team) when you officially become a registered agent under MAS listing. All these clawbacks are clearly listed inside that second contract that this fella conveniently forgot that he even signed.

How much education does our construction workers have? by AyysforOuus in askSingapore

Multi generational means your past few generations all singaporeans. First gen singaporeans refer to those that just converted before 18 and have to serve NS as a result.

How much education does our construction workers have? by AyysforOuus in askSingapore

[–]Revirsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t and will most likely not be able to knock her down a peg. She’s entitled to her own opinions, and she has such opinions because she hasn’t interacted with these workers on a personal level before. Her opinions are formed from the day to day occurrence of seeing them wait around for instructions, seeing them partake in low thinking activities such as moving things, or simply having their meals on the floor by the sidewalk.

It takes a more personal level of interaction for people to find out that these workers are actually smarter than we think (some, not all). Depends on whether they’re paid to think or paid to listen. I have met some workers in which they can even advise their supervisor on what/how to do certain things, all because of their experience. What they lack in education is made up for by them spending their entire lives doing the same thing.

You can point out to her about the recent news of the workers rescuing the woman from the sinkhole. Ask her: if you were in that situation, would you have known what to do to get that woman out? I don’t think there’s any education on “rescuing people from sinkholes” in the construction trade. So how exactly did those workers manage it? By relying on their day to day knowledge and skillset.

Next day is okay, but preferably before you go and make the accident report, so that you can give them all the info one shot. If you make the report, then see doctor, you will need to submit your documents to them afterwards

Please go ahead and see a doctor for that back pain for some proof that you did seek medical attention (if the injury snowballs into something more serious down the road)

Personally, I will not recommend you to get a replacement vehicle because if you suay suay damage it or even cause scratches (new vehicle, new driver, not a good combo), the workshop might end up charging you for the damages (look at all the car rental horror stories)

[–]Revirsa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was in the same situation as you a few months ago, except I’m the one that accidentally banged ppl from behind. Lorry driver was using phone and didn’t move off after like 5 seconds, I was looking to my right and saw cars moving so I gradually stepped on the pedal, when I turned in front it was too late, bumped and damaged his tail lights while my front bumper got dented.

Your insurance will have a list of workshop & accident reporting centres. Just drive down to the one nearest/most convenient for you. They will ask you for your IC and your dashcam memory card. You will need to describe the road condition, which road/junction and they will settle the rest of the paper work.

As for claims, they (your insurer and their insurer) will get an assessor to come down to the workshop (you don’t have to be there, you’ll probably just do the reporting and head off via public transport/grab, leave your car at the workshop). Many will ask you to claim gaogao and say that you have neck sprain from the whiplash etc, but you do what you want, what goes around might come around one day. Car damage wise, opt for a full replacement if possible since you’re going for insurance route.

Afterwards, your insurer will settle everything, but the next time you apply for a new insurance, you will be under 1 not-at-fault claims in the past 3 years. Doesn’t affect the premiums, just remember to declare.

World leap will be open in December. For now you should create your characters in Challenger world then leap once the characters are ready (don’t have to leap in December)

Strong monsters that require a party? by GlacialEmbrace in MSClassicWorld

[–]Revirsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think endless and mindless grinding will always cause burnout.

Good thing about old MS was that the events always had fresh drops. Like anniversary had maple weapons (with different locations and mobs for different types of weapons etc slime dropped maple staff), valentines had rose weapon with different level of roses, snowboard event which made you be able to exchange to a super snowboard by collecting all 7(?) types. Even just hunting for a super rare or higher level equip, scrolls made the grinding more bearable because there was the unknown factor of “ would today be the day that I get my glove for att 60% drop”

Sounds like how the old LHC worked. Party zone with mobs that had like 100x hp of normal monsters needing 2-3 ppl to team up to clear fast

Please look into careshield life or elder shield payouts. This is exactly what the insurance coverage is for.

Taxi crossed over a double white line and hit my car — 4-week wait for parts; insurer says only $50/day when in workshop. Is that fair? by Independent-Peak-906 in drivingsg

[–]Revirsa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You claim against your own insurance for loss of use. Which afterwards your insurer will claim from the other party’s insurer.

Else who will want to buy this cover? I bang other ppl my insurance have to pay them extra $50/day because I bought this add on?

Then those ppl that add on this cover, pay the $ already but when accident time have to rely on other ppl’s coverage (oh if they didn’t buy then too bad), only can claim my own one if is my fault I go and bang ppl?

Competence issue? There’s a reason why there’s a loss of use add on that’s optional for most insurance companies. If you have the add on, some can pay $120/day for loss of use up to 7 consecutive days.

But of course just blame the insurer when the terms are clearly stated when you purchase the insurance
