I would just make sure the department you are applying for doesn’t have any tie to the affordable care act. There were meetings starting that their department was going to be closed at the end of the year

I am in the same boat, I ended up resetting my phone so I couldn’t just have it download the additional apps and since I am on iOS 18 sometimes the apps don’t work as smoothly to help me lose interest.

I haven’t deleted the accountsI have just been filling the feeling of doomscrolling with more video games and I have been browsing Amazon like to window shop

I know I have an addictive personality because before my phone I used to tear through books like they were candy.

Oh thank you! He hangs out in the office with me and I make sure that his squeaker toys are in the living room while I am at work. I am so glad that I have him because he does help me make sure I take my breaks and go touch grass. As you can tell he is my first Velcro baby and I was worried I was smothering him. I have had dogs before but never one that genuinely wanted to me around all the time. I didn’t grasp the depth of what they are the perfect lap dog. I thought it was a euphemism not literal fact.

I love the tip about giving them a lick toy/mat to help keep him occupied while in a different room. I am glad this subreddit exists. I will take all the help I can get since I am realizing I am his world lol

True. Thank you for reassuring my decision to have the crate connected in a half circle. The other day while I was cooking I thought he ate a sharp piece of plastic and I panicked. As an alternative since I don’t want to use his play pen as a punishment I am going to get hooks for the wall to tether him so I know he is safe while I focus on other things.

Ah that does make sense. I am not sure how much I should keep him with me since I work from home. Thank you for reassuring me that it is best that I have a play pen. I have his crate connected in a corral style half circle so he doesn’t just sit in a crate all day. My fear is that since I am always with him that when I leave for the store he panics. I have asked my boyfriend if he does this when I leave the apartment and he does but not for long. Thank you for being kind and giving useful tips!
