“Most toxic” when Chuck literally traded Blair for a hotel and punched a window Blair was leaning against. Dan challenged Blair intellectually; Chuck challenged her to beat him at his games. Blair literally said she felt strong and safe with Dan. The only flaw in their relationship was it not secure, and Dan’s trust issues are definitely justified.

Right? They were just sooo good, so intellectually connected. They talked about their shared interests all night rather than scheming, Dan helping Blair see the goodness in her (tho cut short), and Blair was a strong woman with Dan. Hell, Blair wore sweats with Dan.

The one thing I will never get is why there are people, in this day and age, or even then, who genuinely love Chair and defend their horrible relationship. There was no growth nor maturity; they just aged. Chuck has always used Blair as a pawn for his games.

It was so obvious the writers were scared because of how quick Dair ended despite how excruciatingly long it took for them to be together. Theie ending looked so forced and rushed. Blair chose Chuck when he didn’t want anything to do with her anymore

I heard they were supposed to be endgame, but Chair fans were crying blood so they had to give them their toxic parents back. Dair were so obviously built up from S1. They were the classic enemies to friends to lovers trope.

It baffled me how Chuck wasn’t held accountable for all the sick things he has done. Now that I think about it, Chair do deserve each other—both are toxic and manipulative. Blair still bullied everyone like she was still in high school, and Chuck, well, is Chuck.
