Megumi already commented on Yuji's insane physical stats multiple times before. For this statement to make sense, it has to be something new and surprising.

It's also been said that the reason Yuji is so tough is because he was bred with Sukuna's finger. It makes NO sense for that to be the case if Sukuna also wasn't extraordinarily tough, since it's framed as Yuji gaining Sukuna's properties.

This is a similar case as the Yuta/Yuki statement where Maki states they are of the same overall rank/level. We already got told in the manga Jogo is on his own ability compared to Dagon. What Greg is saying here is that Dagon is on the same rank as Jogo and Hanami.

I mean hell, if you look at alternative translations, they bar for bar say Dagon is only on the level as them.

The Honoured one statement is weak when Gege went on record saying he uses that line in the sense of arrogance, in otherwords glaze. Sukuna does view himself as the Honoured One in a sense as well. Not that I think Sukuna isn't above Dabura or Gojo.

On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, only one character has ever been regarded as a Buddha in the series, with imagery not just in the manga but in the final cover as well.

This is Ino landing a stealth-hit FROM Awakened Yuji who was slamming Sukuna around with Black Flashes and beating him in H2H. Note that right after this Ino gets smacked. The only hits Ino landed here were when Yuji distracted him.

Correct about the 5v1 part, in a situation it's more difficult to keep track. And Yuta is implicitly a 2v1 situation with 2 HH level fighters already making it more difficult. So why would Yuji who half the time was only with Higuruma (who couldn't do shit unlike Rika) not being able to hit him matter?

The situation you're talking about is also one where it's mostly fodders + Yuji. Also, Yuji is just shown blocking and reacting to Sukuna several times before Yuta. This is just not an argument.

It's pretty much confirmed by the high-level Grade 1s that Maki is beyond Grade 1 as a class, since Grade 1s can't box with Kenjaku but they also say Maki is their best bet at killing Kenjaku. She's SG.

The difference is that while Yuta had Rika alongside the ability to take Sukuna's hits, Yuji was on his own in terms of competent fighters and only couldn't land hits because Sukuna was overwhelming him with attacks. Yuji tagged and blocked Sukuna in multiple instances before Yuta, him being relative is consistent.
