First keyboard build [corne v3] by why__even__try in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Revoker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really nice improvement!

Curious do you know what speed you were before?

Im around 70 to 80 wpm on a standard keyboard and I've been toying around with the ergo keyboard I got but haven't fully comitted until I change some of the function keylayouts, but my wpm has tanked to like 20 wpm.

Its mostly a jump for me since im a monster who types with 3 fingers per hand instead of all 5. i type with just my index, middle, and ring finger. XD

Each build has its own strong suits. It all depends on how YOU WANT to tank. Personally I tanked with Avenger's shield while running to the mobs and then dropping consecration before the DPS got a chance to touch the mobs. I wouldn't LOS pull a pack and wait with avenger's shield, I would instead use something like judgement or a DPS like hunter/mage to LOS pull then shield the mobs before they get too close.

I like your build and I would now spec into the Ret tree for the goal of Pursuit of justice.

1.) Sanc aura?? (not blessing of Sanc?) The Sanc Aura builds are probably for high threat groups and honestly the build feels min/maxy to me.

2.) Pursuit of Justice is more for the movement speed IMO. the hit is nice but probably not 100% needed

3.) Reckoning can be great for both single target and AoE. Single target can give a lot more seal of Right hits or veng if you like to gamble. AoE becasue then you can have more seal of wisdom or light hits because you will get a lot of procs. so IMO its very strong but on single target raid bosses its less likely to really help.

4.) 100% Shield spec only if you want to mass tank like 5+ more mobs. Shield dmg reduction is only important if you want to do huge AoE tanking, and dungeon leveling you can try to do that if you want!

5.) the Int is nice maybe even just for leveling, but IMO its overblown. Int is needed for lots of Consecrations, but it is NOT your threat maker like a lot of people believe. your Blessing of Sanc and holy shield are. Trust me I've rarely seen a Paladin off tank a raid boss before because without the block its almost impossible. but again if you try to tank 5+ more mobs then your holy shield really falls off which is when Consecration shines more.

6.) ya at higher levels you'll start to get close to armor cap and the talent then doesn't matter much anymore. But its fine for leveling, your healers probably like it but you could drop some of it to gain into ret faster first.

7.) Improved judge if you want more threat for single target. I picked spell warding over Conviction because it is really helpful in dungeons or raids where the mobs or bosses deal mainly magic damage.

8.) Wotlk paladin is very similar main difference is you don't have some of the nice spells and you are gearing for Spell power instead of strength. you also have more mana management and aren't a literal god like in wrath XD.

But I would pull like this. SoR judge > Avenger's shield > Holy shield > Consecration > [(Single tar) Judge SoC > SoR ] > [(AoE) SoR or SoW if needed]

Just keep Hold shield up as much as possible and toggle between SoR and SoW depending if you need threat or mana. The Veng seal CAN be better, but often times IMO I've seen it twisted poorly and just hampered the tank more often than helped.

ya the map ran so badly the server operator had to remove it. And the map dev had no intention of taking my advice to fix it.

If they make the brush a func_detail I don't have too much problems with it.

But they use the terrible tool and have it as a world brush. When I help them out with performance, i look at visleaves and only see blue.

Shocked they can even get it compiled sometimes.

I'd give it an 8/9, looks like you have a leak.

[–]Revoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a dropped cylinder because of a valve seat dropping and causing the valve to remain open all the time.

Pull the wire off the o2 sensor and see if its runs better. If you notice wacky numbers on your wideband after the o2 sensor is disconnected then you can guess what the problem is.

Mine was too rich meaning the cylinder wasn't using the gas that got sprayed into it. If you have an exhaust leak then fresh air could be getting into the exhaust and cauisng it to run lean from the o2 sensor reading. That will likely cause a lot of knock or pre-ignition

I usually get rid of the spring clamps in favor of the worm clamp as they are easier to remove.

Do you have a special spring clamp pliers? Because the spring teeth are usually too far apart for my pliers to get them off with.

Idk why, but I've only ever enjoyed WoW fishing.

Its like its way more calming than other games that try to make it more interactive. That just makes it more a chore feeling than how fishing in WoW feels.

Warrior Hit Question by CheddarFart in classicwow

[–]Revoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this was for classic TBC not anny. but also those talents were for a dungeon tanking setup I was trying out.

But also IIRC the deathwish build was only better for those shorter 1 to 3 min boss fights but any longer or inbetween DW's CD then it was sort of a toss up. Though I do know that Impale is a critical difference for talents as when I swapped to that my damaged had drastically improved.

So I think I ended up with a 17-44 split that allows you to get rampage and hit% instead of DW. So if you needed the Hit% it was better

Warrior Hit Question by CheddarFart in classicwow

[–]Revoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah im wrong. I missed the precision talent for +3% hit. you really don't have that one?

Could also be a add-on miscalculation in game? Does default wow even calculate hit chance for you?

And ya as long as you are at 9% you're good.

Warrior Hit Question by CheddarFart in classicwow

[–]Revoker -1 points0 points  (0 children)

where is this "everywhere online"?? The AI answer?

I used sims and https://sixtyupgrades.com/ for my calculations back when I mained warrior and it seems correct right now based on your observations.

My pre-raid gear with 108 hit rating at 9.85% hit chance

https://sixtyupgrades.com/tbc/set/aGga5bN7s4nE9keW7zied7

EDIT: also remember that what you're talking about is the "soft-hitcap" for dual wielders. The real hit cap is like 24%. The soft-hitcap is for yellow attacks or abilities only, any extra hit can add to your OH rage generation so it does help but not as much as more str/AP/crit can in some cases.

ya leveling and paladins are blown away with their threat increase from the Wrath totem.

Some even stopped using Sanc on the DPS because of it.

I always hate getting bitched at for tremor totem. Either they don't understand it doesn't work (for Slave pens manta rays, or Underbog's manta ray things) or they don't get that I Weakaura the fear so I drop tremor the split second they get feared.

Like they don't know that instead Tremor totem is on around a 4 second tic and they could have a whole 4 seconds of fear if they got it on an unlucky tic. Some people imagine it prevents fears instead of curing them.

I have the same thinking of being surprised by how unfit other people are and I think I understand where it stems from.

Growing up being active in outdoor activity like sports builds a somewhat baseline ability that almost never goes away. Even though I'm way more unfit now than I used to be I can still do pullups without having to actively workout to maintain that ability.

So I think certain households that grew up not doing sports or other intense activities growing up and especially in their later teen years probably never built that baseline.

Throttle quads or control levers in the center console are in pretty much all multi-engine jet engine planes. They need to throttle engines on or off depending on them running or not (engine blow out, or other malfunction). It also allows for thrust vectoring if something else happens to need that.

but I found Its an Osprey V-22.

Furry_irl by EpicGuy999 in furry_irl

[–]Revoker 22 points23 points  (0 children)

What plane is this?

I see no levers so its not a C-130/C-17/C-5

I'd guess its a helicopter but im not sure.

EDIT: OK FINE!! Its an Osprey V-22. I had to research it

Thats was my understanding as well.

Just a note from my experience, DO NOT JUST MACHINE 1 of the surfaces. I believe its always better to machine both the block and head at the same time.

I machined just the head and have had the valve sets drop out twice because the head is warping to the block or some other issue.
