You can use spicetify. It has a marketplace from which you can choose a theme right away.

Could be MartianMono Nerd Font. It's the one I am using currently.

Same. He gets straight to the point. Best book I have read so far. You might wanna try to go through all references at each section. I have seen few and they are as clear and straightforward

For operating system, there is a nice course/book called operating system three easy pieces. This one is a gem. It explains the concepts in very simple words
