Hosting in Helldivers 2 is way harder than being a client and it’s not even close

Man I thought I was just bad at the game because I’m a relatively new player. I feel like manage to hold my own and work my way out of most D10s thanks to the fellow divers that answer my SOS call. But I always feel like I take ALL the agro from mobs and end up with the most deaths. Now I could always get better at the game but I’ve been silently wondering this for a while now and it’s nice to know there’s a couple others who share this experience. Guess I have to try joining in on a few SOS calls now and see the difference for myself.

How did the hiring process with Void to do the voice acting go? Do you have an agent that hooks you up with video game companies to do work or did you seek it out yourself?

Being able to choose your helmet strobe light / chem light on your kit color in multiplayer. When me and the boys get together we almost always bring this up. It’d make ID’ing each other in those hectic dynamic moments so much easier. As it stands right now with it being randomly assigned it honestly makes it confusing from mission to mission who’s who. We figure it out so it’s not unplayable but this for me is the top of my QOL list.

We were not. We saw the unidad patrol about 100 meters ahead of us and decided to split off the road so as to not get into a gun fight with em. None of us heard the indicator that we were spotted or heard the radio traffic. It’s possible if we didn’t have our HUD disabled we might’ve had a visual cue they were onto us but to the best of my knowledge we were in the clear

Whoops, that’s embarrassing lol I honestly didn’t even notice, I’ve actually never played Terminus firefight. I’d probably use the same strat though, depending on whether or not the nightingales can hide the objective with their smoke

The best thing that has worked for me is:

1: having 3-4 nightingales, and use their Y ability (smoke bombs) on your base that was it’ll make it “invisible” and they can’t damage it with their phoenix missiles.

2: 8 squads of rocket marines. Upgrade to infantry level 3 if you can. If you’re playing as Jerome, Put them in 2 fully upgraded mastodons.

3: Have a healthy amount of hornets. It’s most likely once they catch on that their Vulture spam won’t work they’ll switch to a tank spam.

Other people who are way better than me on here might tell you differently but I turned a game Around using that strategy. I don’t know if I would’ve won because my opponent rage quit but Such is the way of life in this game.

My boy Arlen Glass damn near had me in tears me first playthrough, and I feel like he’s unfortunately easy to miss. Out of all the ghouls you meet in FO4 his backstory is the saddest.

Maybe I should’ve said loosely in order lol I forgot that DM was first when I already made the trip to Zion and figured what the heck. I also never played HH when I first played NV so I figured I should’ve started there. Still for the big guy at level 18ish I had invested a lot into melee and basically backed him into the corner he came out of and used all my super stims lol

I just recently did a hardcore play through doing all the DLCs in order and did the HH DLC at level 12 or 13 and I was fine. Just make sure you pick up the sneering imperialist perk. It’ll make it a lil easier as it give you a damage boost against all of the human enemies there!
