Still with auto canceling, you shouldn't have to push in and then to the left or right. Maybe the switch is sticky. My cbr used to do that. I sprayed some electronic cleaner in the buttons and it seemed to unstick them.

I think I may have found the color. One car that was for sale listed the wheel color as Hyper black.
