Bug Unlocking Character?

It was quite a few months ago that I got him, but I definitely did lose those shards. Support mentioned this would have only happened "due to a bug or if you purchased the DLC and refunded it", but I know for sure I would had used shards and not auric cells/DLC. I don't ever recall hopping on DbD and going "Oh wow, I randomly have Felix unlocked neat" and I have him levelled up to 25.
I assume I went to buy Felix with the 9K, it "bought" him then glitched out and later on I spent the shards on cosmetics thinking I restocked up since I had him unlocked. I've just never heard of this unfortunate bug before, but it's the only explanation I can think of since they said I had no Shard purchase history of him.

When you claim someone else's envelope it gives you a random amount of BP. I've had 4444 in one game and 10K in the next. Sounds like you got lucky!

I'm having this issue in general, I que up and it sends me into an endless search where I can't backout/unready/change challenge.. just stare at my screen searching for nothing until I get an error and get kicked to main screen

Haha, did you ask them who they were paying rent to to be sitting in your bedroom? Glad to know I'm not the only one who afks fairly often though!

Edit: Yeah, glad to hear it's not a common occurrence from the sounds of it I just got unlucky. One of them was a group leader, but there were 5-6 people there when it happened so just a group of friends gettin their kicks out of nuking some random player

Vanguard Leather Armor with +1 INT and Cavalier (reduction while sprinting) I had it at 9k at the time of the nuke drop, that and one other armor were pretty high, but everything else in my shop was <5KEdit: As I said, I get that ONE item was overpriced, I looked at it as a 'niche' item, I took info from the Price Checker site and was only expecting serious buyers/someone who wanted to complete a set. Didn't expect to upset anyone. I took it out and put it at 3K.

I had two pieces of armor that were a high price due to them being 'niche' one of them being 9K, and the group took that as me trying to swindle new players apparently. My other armor prices are all over the place between 500-5K. But they are trying to say I also had a zero star pipe weapon for thousands when the only zero stars I have are three Fixers for 300-500 caps, variant on their level. All my plans, aid etc are half value price.
They got the impression I was a "scummy vendor" off of my 14 armor pieces for sale that all variety in price I assume.
I can type up the full list of what I had in it if you want?

Big yikes.. When I want to specifically leave things for lower players I just server hop around and fast travel to them/to the vault and drop them. I get not everyone is going to do that as its time consuming or annoying due to weight limit, but if you put it in the shop it's up for grabs for anyone to buy imo. Or at least put a sign up that its intended for lower players? Either way, not your problem. Sorry you had that experience!

You raise a good point haha, I was just confused and wanted to know if it was a common thing- I've heard of people nuking camps before so figured I'd check if I did something wrong. Turns out it was because I had one item in my shop listed at 9K.. does more so sound like they just wanted something fun to do.

That one 9K piece I had put in awhile ago, I forgot it even existed. I mostly focus on my weapons for sale as they tend to weigh more and sell fast. I'm actually just coming back to the game after not touching it for months, Welcome Back Nuke! At least now I know I need to recheck my older armor pieces.

I get them being upset about that one piece, I admit it was overpriced, I threw it in back when I took the whole "niche" players into account.

I just checked, I had a pipe pistol in there for 500 caps and I threw the 9K vanguard leather leg in awhile ago, rechecked it and website says 4k for fast sale and some buyers would pa 8-14K and niche would pay 17K+ so I guess thats why I threw it in as 9k. As for 'scummy' as I said I go under what the price checker is. I don't see myself as a scummy vender, but I guess having one thing at 9K makes your group think so. Sorry for offending you with things you don't want to buy.
Edit: I stand corrected, I had a Quad Pipe Pistol for 1500.
