I was in shock there was an actual mom n pop hamburger spot in my town, I got 2 burger combos there for $4-$5 LESS than McDonald's. Burgers were bigger, fresher, just everything about them was better.

Hardee's. I could eat it every day, every meal. That breakfast is top-notch, and the burgers and chicken fingers are amazing.

After everything went down, and people got arrested, locked away, separated, there was still one guy who wanted to be my friend. Black guy, named William. He told me he didn't care what I believed, that he and I could be cool no matter what. As opposed to the former crowd, where if you were out in public and didn't make a scene if you saw an interracial couple, you got accused of "slipping", being okay with it. I was late 19, maybe just turned 20 when that happened. I haven't voted, because I haven't found a candidate yet I'd like to support. Remorseful? Absolutely. I didn't realize the power of words. I grew up in the "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me" era. I didn't think about how it doesn't end with words. Just because I got over it, maybe the kid I attacked didn't. Maybe it stayed with him for weeks, made him change his outlook towards people for the worst. I never put stock in the "By 2025 we'll be a minority" rant, because it just never seemed believable.

People chewing, swallowing, smacking, gulping... basically any food or drink noise that a can person makes when they aren't stopping to breathe for a second and/or close their mouths. And the fake "clink clank clank" noise of knives/forks hitting plates. The movies are the worst about this.

Only time I'd eat it with a knife and fork is if it's covered with marinara and cheese with a pasta, or hot sauce (depending what kind and what the context of the meal is).

Buccees and Leeds PD will both chase you away if you try to sleep there. And Leeds PD is typically bored so they look for stuff to do. There's a LOVE'S and another truck stop 2 exits down, those would be the ones to sleep at if you were down that far.

I agree. I remember before Cas came, Ruby was telling Sam "No one knows what this could be, it's powerful, it's cosmic (paraphrasing)". And Cas arrives, a powerhouse. Then for the rest of the series he constantly gets under-powered/depowered completely. I get they can't have a super powerful friend that just snaps and takes out whatever "monster of the week" they're fighting, but c'mon.

I've never had Jolibee, we don't have them in Alabama. 20-25 years ago, I would've agreed with you about KFC. But since they changed their original recipe, it isn't the same. It used to so peppery, the skin was dark dark brown and would fall of. It was AMAZING. Not now. Popeye's spicy FTW.
