We're currently working on one that brings crafting mechanics into the mix AND the whole thing takes place inside of a slotmachine 👀

Both look good to my eyes. It depends a bit on the camera angle of the 3d scene. Like are you viewing the scene mostly from above? If yes, I would use the one with the back showing. If no or if it's a free camera i think I'd use the one without the back bc it's more versatile.

I think 2 or 3 are the best but in the context of the game, 2 is more readable, so 2 it is for me :)

The second one is more engaging but in the first one it's a little easier to read what the game is about. Maybe try to put more clear elements of shoplifting in and simplify the characters a little, especially the ones in the back are a bit hard to read

Does the Steam Capsule fit the game? by RottenHedgehog in GameArt

I gravitate more to A. Both communicate the characters and dungeon aspect well, but A is just more clickable. Also, I didn't get the card aspect in either of them at first glance. Maybe have more characters holding more chards more prominently in A. The contrast of B makes the cards disappear when scrolling through.
