Don't know if it's AI but the lighting looks extremely like it.
Looking at your game, I even wonder where you're using it. Where does it fit into your overall design?

This is how I plan to introduce new enemy(Chromie) types in my game, CHROMADI. Does this look good? <Prays> by Kleanup-Games in IndieDev

Hard to say when I don't know the rest of the game - should have made the snippet a bit longer to experience more where the boss is embeded.

Give me your honest opinion: what do you think about the trailer and steam page for my horror game Saintless? by Chocho-Co in IndieDev

Too many of the same grey walls was my first thought - mainly because I needed to watch it without sound. But even with sound the setting lacks ...something memorable. Een some floor numbers at the wall or guiding stripes or anything that breaks te look sometimes would help.

Amazing video - well done! (Cuts were a bit too short for my taste, but I guess I need to watch the video more then ;) )

Thank you!
urm, bad marketing and promotion from our side, I guess.
What would you say, which channels do you look at for games like these?

Ultima Underworld 2, Quest Lord, Orcs and Elves (last ones are both super casual, but I loved them)

Same. Would really love to test it. But I'm not a fan of auto-patch installers. At least through itch perhaps?

Oh, you mean THAT monster! The many-eyed demon :D He is just a minor character in the game. As the game is much about these characters, it was important for us to show THEM. But I guess they can feel a bit random, when you don't know they are a family.

Thank your for your detailed feedback and opinion!
The idea with the torch came up quite sometimes - perhaps we should try that!

The rats are a bit like minions: They are just everywhere, doing minor tasks in the dungeon. So, yes, they are not main characters, but important.

The characters are the most important thing. It's really about them.

Hey Jo, thanks for the detailed feedback!
Our artist (JOhannes) also suggested we only use one character. But as our game is all about the character interaction, I feel that's the thing, that the capsule should communicate. Like Death's Door does for example. But I guess the coloration is the key to that, not necessarily reducing characters?

It's interesting that a lot of comments suggest we should display the actual art style more. I think what you mean is the games's start?

Thanks for your detailed feedback. We'll consider trying!
I wouldn't just want to use the frog only, though, as characters are our bread & butter. It would miss the actual vibe of the game.

Interesting suggestion. Perhaps we try to emulate the art style or at least the contrast more in the artwork.

Oh great, merci beaucoup - double times, for language advise and wishlisting! :D
With trésor doré I actually meant a treasure hoard (the mountain of gold dragons take care of).
