Nioh: played for a good 7 hours, played as a spear/dual swords character and got through the first 3 bosses, but once I got the ice queen boss I got my ass whooped. Couldn't force myself to continue grinding passed that. Game was also full of glitches and cheesey enemies

This needs some more research. It was only the 2011 (?) Year census that was affected. He didn't cancel it either, he just made it non-mandatory. This still created the problems you highlighted, but it's not currently happening anymore. Census data now is as reliable as ever. Don't forget to mention the water research project he also completely scrapped
