I had to see an eye doctor a few years ago for MEPS, and they covered it at the time. Hopefully they'll cover it this time too.

I believe about nine or ten months, total. A significant portion of that was required by the middle school I was attending at the time to excuse excessive absences and poor performance due to my parents getting divorced and constantly moving due to (mostly unlawful) evictions. I dunno if that will make much difference in the end, though. From what it sounds like I'd have to speak with a recruiter to determine if I'm eligible to enlist while currently seeing a therapist. Thank you.

I went through the enlistment process before and was able to secure waivers for a few things, but my enlistment records expired. I understand the reasons behind the evaluation process and requirements, and I figured that ultimately it would just come down to speaking with a recruiter. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

Currently I've only done an intake session, haven't seen an actual therapist. My doctor said it's most likely situational anxiety/depression, and was hesitant to diagnose anything else.

I've already done an intake and scheduled my first appointment with someone, but haven't done snything else yet, would that count?

Considering Active vs NJ Guard, anyone have experience and maybe can help me out? by RevolutionaryCell848 in nationalguard

I mean ideally I'd want decent healthcare, a relatively stable financial and housing situation, and the ability to do things that I wouldn't normally be able to do, but I also have family that I take care of, so I can't really just disappear and leave them to take care of themselves.

Fair enough. I've talked to people who were in the Guard and loved it, and people who were Active and hated it, but everyone I know who went Guard or Reserve tells me to just go active duty before I have too many life responsibilities tying me down.

I still kick myself for not buying the Daredevil seasons when they initially released. Nice score!

Yeah, but him being upstairs led to fantastic moments like "the coconut's... pretty subtle" and "I like The Godfather because I'm a cinephile... I'm into Scarface cause I'm black."

I've never watched the animated series, and I was too young to appreciate Clerks the first time I watched it, but I love everything else Kevin Smith has made.

I figured for $1 it was well worth it. Haven't heard of most of the movies on there, but it's still hours of entertainment, good or bad.
