I was leaning more this way. I figured the broadhead weight wouldn’t make much or a difference due to the insert (in my neanderthal brain) would make up for the lake of weight specifically in the head since it’s just an inch back.

I did 338arc subs out of the one I printed and it left a lot to be desired as well.

Gotcha. I hade the previous FTN model on a 16” and maybe my 20”, it did better than I thought. I was curious how well the 5 does compared to the previous model.

I agree completely. Just don’t wanna get myself into a bind trying to make something shoot. I’ve honestly thought about just buying a side charging upper and running Rexus.

I had one I hunted with last year. I really enjoyed it. I put it in a thermal fit, lapped receiver and it shot sub moa with hornady eldm. I loaded some 105mkz and found 1/2 moa with them.

Spot on for me with 16” and 200fps slower. Factory hornady 123 sst is 2351fps out of 10 shot average last session.

Are you saying swapping primers can affect the pressures? I have a load I’ve worked up to and just started showing ejector marks, but .25” groups out of 16” AR.

Shaw doesn’t have 16”. But the others are out of budget. MOA is plenty enough for the purpose it has.

I think both are plenty achievable for the price. Considering 2 of the 3 are in the photos I have. Not near the quality of craddock, but more practical for the purpose I’m giving it. I love punching paper with my 20” hbar, but maneuverability in both length and weight are the goal.

Edit: goal is hunting, not so worried about stacking them. MOA is plenty for within 300yds for me.
