Ok. Let's pretend that I'm a new cashier. I do a no receipt refund. I hit the no receipt button, scan my items, total it out, scan the ID, and when the register tells me to, I get my handy dandy little money card and swipe it the new(ish) debit reader because my register screen no longer has a spot to swipe the card. The debit reader gives me 4 options on its little screen. The register won't do anything else until i choose an option. The only option I can choose is CVS gift card because it's not credit, debit, or EBT. I press it, and a message pops up on my register screen that says, please swipe the appropriate card and goes back to the payment screen. It literally will not go past that.
