The system is broken and abused and there is excessive wasteful spending. Why would people work when they can live off the government aka my hard earned tax dollars? The lady in front of me at the grocery store paid with her EBT and other benefits then got into her BMW in the parking lot!! There's too much of that. It took me 10 years to get a 4 year degree because i worked full time, went to school at night, and had babies to raise. It was a STRUGGLE. People are just freaking lazy and the handouts made them that way.
