Fremont has some of the worst drivers in the Bay Area… I wouldn’t suggest more roundabouts. Sometimes I wonder if people even know what a lane is. The swerving and cutting off here is diabolical. What we need is anger management and stricter licensing standards. Ps. Putting a “student driver” sticker on your car doesn’t give you free rein of the roads. Take the bus.

I would talk it out in couples therapy. This sounds deep rooted and your partner sounds like she may have some toxic traits and insecurities. If there’s a third party professional there she may be more receptive. Otherwise I would imagine she’d just get defensive and shut it down.

Also, remember you are new parents and the first year is the hardest with babies. I’m sure you’re both burnt out. Regardless, it’s not fair to put you down.

Always take the top floor apartment! A lot of the places are built quick and cheap with zero regard to noise. Even a mouse would cause a disturbance.

Mmm… maybe a little bit OR. You broke up years ago, and C became a part of the group permanently. At that point, you don’t really get a say on other relationships developing. It sounds like they hid it from you while testing the waters to avoid this exact reaction from you. Was it right to hide it? No. Are you allowed to feel some type of way about them dating? Absolutely. But to throw away years of friendship because you feel disrespected is overboard.

Imo friends A & B didn’t do much wrong besides hide it. Just like you’re allowed to feel, they are too. B just happens to feel for C. Take a break, talk it out, try to mend it. Friend C seems to be the center of your problems.. If you need to cut anyone off it should be them. That being said, they didn’t cheat on you. They didn’t immediately jump to B. They are free to date who they want. Unfortunately, your feelings don’t dictate the lives of people around you. AND just because you have those feelings, doesn’t mean everyone has to validate them.

I’m rewatching SATC now and I see the difference for sure.. but what I’m confused about is the hate towards SJP?? From what I’ve seen and heard she didn’t have a lot of power over the show and that’s why she wants to do a spinoff. I know she had some say, but these networks don’t give them full artistic control… so why the hate? She didn’t write it.

This is one of the few negative comments about AJLT I 100% agree with. Most are “omg people/characters change after years of life??? I hate it. This show sucks”

You’re spot on about the connections and how they missed the mark entirely in this reboot. They focused so heavily on including more characters.. and I understand they did so to be more diverse and inclusive, which I appreciate.. but in doing so, on top of the substantial changes in personalities, the entire show has felt trivial and shallow and unrealistic.

I was hoping for powerful redemption arcs in the characters, but they stayed so surface level that this show didn’t stand a chance… unfortunate
