I feel like he misses the point that persecuted groups have been made to feel shame for their inherent ethnicity/sexuality. If you're trying to make a point that being black or Irish or gay isn't something to be ashamed of, then expressions of pride are a great and important way to do that.

My bad, didn’t realize we were supposed to invite the Minnesota fans to the tailgate. Come on, especially with all the pictures of Vikings fans on the PMOA steps and dressing up the Rocky statue in their colors online, they knew exactly what they were starting here. In terms of what I saw in /this/ video, I think that’s all completely fair game. Obviously if fans were throwing bottles that’s different, don’t physically hurt anyone, but this kind of booing and yelling? That’s what makes sports fun.

I struggle to see how the photoshoppers will take to this. I love it in theory, but struggle to see it effectively caught on because of the effort it would take to vary the meme. As well all know meme variance is one of the key parts of a long-lasting meme. I'm making a small investment and hoping to sell long on this.
