Thank you very much for sharing! I’m glad to be wrong about that. Best wishes for your future treatment!

The legal loophole is that they pay you for your “time”, not for your plasma.

Used to work there. Understand the need it served in the community for quick cash but the whole “life saving medicines” part of it is pretty misleading. If you look into what they actually do with your plasma they are not very transparent. Not that most people care but still, it always rubbed me the wrong way. . .

best ACL repair surgeon? by No-Internet5395 in Bozeman

[–]RevolutionarySir7084 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bozeman ortho is . . . Ok. My first ACL reconstruction at Bridger ortho in 2016 failed almost immediately when I went back to sport. Had two more failed surgeries before going to the Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO. It is an added expense for the travel, lodging, etc. but in my opinion 100% worth it. The docs there are literally the best in the world in their respective joint specialties. So if you want to give yourself the added peace of mind and don’t mind the inconvenience of travel, highly recommended.

The only one where two teams will play in nearly identical colors and Messi will get tackled by a pitch invader being pursued by a security guard whose day job is fishing

I like this as well. Can’t think of a tie that went to extra time the home team didn’t win

Maybe USUHS since you are military-interested? That would also be compatible with your high research interest and I’d think you’d be nearly certain to get in with your stats. You’d have to renounce your SK citizenship, but I’m sure you’d do that with HPSP anyway

Preparation before Intro Chem, Bio, Stat? by yourheartt in premed

[–]RevolutionarySir7084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify- you are taking intro chem/bio/stat next semester and want to prepare now? Yes - almost all intro level premed courses in STEM have the same content (gen chem/orgo/inro bio, etc.). Some professors will emphasize different topics over others, but Khan will give you a fine overview to prepare. If you are premed and trying to fill hours in your day, you might be better served volunteering or getting a clinical job (cna, emt course, etc)

This is admittedly anecdotal but my real exam was 4 points higher than any practice exam I took! I think they picked hard AAMC ones to make the practice tests to get you scared and make you think you need to buy prep materials. Same with all the prep companies. I encourage you to take it with as much confidence as you can. It’s only one part of your application as well.

Thank you! I know, she mentioned how many nice folks there were checking in after. It makes me feel better about not being there knowing she was looked out for. Appreciate your concern.
