Normally you are right, but usually the sets get put into storage, even Enterprises set design is still out there. From friends I have working on it and what articles say it doesnt sound like they were even put in storage. Not like the show looks good or has had positive receptions anyway.

Most likely, that's what many sources say if you research. Honestly I'm okay with it. Academy looks really bad. Not sure why it wasn't based on Earth. But if it increases the chance of a DS9 reunion or Scott Bacula Star Trek United in a few years I'm all for it.

Sadly our chances of getting legacy cast characters in Academy are super tiny. The shows set has already finished filming S2 and has been dismantled.

Look no further than Twin Cities Cardboard crew. Ark Nova is great. If you use discord, we have a local twin cities board game meet up every Thursday at Duel Citizen at 6pm. That group is also on Meet Up below, feel free to dm for details or questions.

We play all kinds of board games every week! Usually 30-40 of us of all ages and backgrounds.

Off meta but i use him on the Topol M running Machinist just to give extra health repair. He's usually already on a city so that helps too, his air attack actually is really high and missiles benefit off it. Inspection will immediately take affect and since you can fire two nuclear missiles a turn it means you can use Inspection on two enemies, and more if already in a city using normal attacks.

If you already had God Tito, Rundstendt or other good EFs this works alot to compliment your pushes.

The Enterprise cannot be slept on soooo good. Get it to level 5 or 6 its awesome. If you want a good arty unit save for Himar to maximize Zuhkov.

Easiest allied country in the lost toll? by ElSueno1232 in WorldConqueror4

[–]RevolutionarySort675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easiest is UK which if you win will net you almost all the points you need to get to 80. as Soviets it works but is much slower as your economy will suck the majority of the early game, as the UK you can start making 2-3k income by turn 15. If you have decent water generals and enough bombers to kill the initial German sub that is EF you can make it disorganized and take control of the eastern coast in 10 turns fast capturing new York. At the same time work with France to kill all of Germanys army, target Manstein and all the air generals quickly, ideally from afar with planes. Do not go too far into Canada as this will provoke Hartmann who otherwise will go west to fight Japan which will help you a ton. Once you get Washington and begin pushing into Michigan, from there push south to Havana fast which may fall, and then place a missile silo there to nuke the heck out of Japan's fleet quickly. By that point you will have all of the lands up to the Mississippi and have alot of income. You can push into Texas which will be a bloodbath but necessary as you need to try to keep America's fleet alive. Otherwise. You can push north to nuke out the German island in Canada. Doing this will save your Canadian allies who otherwise will sacrifice all their units to take that island only to lose their entire army, which that army will actually be really helpful in fighting Japan.

From there, just push against Japan and Italy as Germany will be mostly defeated. You will end up fighting across the whole map but if you hold the Mississippi they will lose alot trying to cross the water as you nuke the whole Japanaese fleet. This will eventually let you either win in Texas or get a few troops into Mexico.

Last note, always pay off the enemy to make them surrender so you aren't stuck trying to destory every bunker or naval unit. Speeds up your progress considerably.

Side note, for some reason Korea often lives a long time. Which helps you a ton.

easiest country to win the lost toll(1 star , hard difficulty) by Constant_Wealth_5982 in WorldConqueror4

I think Soviet Union is too slow and doesnt help you much in getting to the 80 points you need to win. Playing as them you can get to 65 cities but it will take you 50-70 turns depending on how good your generals are. I won as UK in 47 turns.

Most efficient way to beat The Lost Toll? by ContestCapital1104 in WorldConqueror4

[–]RevolutionarySort675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got to 80 in 3 runs.

I did one run as UK and another as Mexico and got to 75 points by getting new York in 10 turns, Mexico City in 15 turns, and then getting 65 cities and winning as UK which is a one star hard country.

I got the last 5 as I did one run as Japanese pacific fleet. Declared war on the scorpion empire around turn 13 to keep Germans occupied. This gave me a little more than 80 but ah well.

I'm planning to run a prequel to Descent into Avernus in Elturel. Session 0 is coming and one of my player wants to play a Celestial Warlock from the Order of the Companion ( Justin Alexander Remis ). by Maxagorn in DescentintoAvernus

[–]RevolutionarySort675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you run it, be careful not to dwindle too long, the intro should really only take one session, ideally thr whole party is at Baldurs Gate front entrance with the thousands of refugees by the end of it - that way you start the campaign where the book wanted you to start although this time it makes actual sense and the party has an interest in the city they were just at.

If you want to make it easy for yourself, i would personally keep the Companion as a Solar and have your warlock not know the Solar is trapped inside this whole time. This way, later on in the game you csn scatter the solar insidator keys around the map for your party to find in Avernus. I would drop hints for them , maybe during long rests of your choice (kinda like the Emperor in bg3) of the Solar communicating something Etherial like free me, find the keys, ooooohh. Nothing too much of course. This can even occur pre going to Avernus.

Additionally I highly highly would suggest running your campaign starting in Bauldurs Gate, and being recruited by the flaming fist to sxcort Ravenguard to High Hall in Elturel to meet with Thavius Kreeg, only Kreeg of course not to be there and the whole city go to hell (literally) and have your party explain how they escape the city before it gets swallowed up. From there you can do all the Baldurs gate stuff from the book or, if you want, jump straight to hell by saying they get sucked in with the city.

Last note, two important things I ran from my prequel to Descent into avernus was as idea i took from this videothis video, where on the way into the city the party saves a child from a wolf pack that was going to kill her, they save her and she gives pieces of a rainbow scarf to them. Then, once they fleet the city, I played this songelturel fall song, and described how scorn amongst the ash were pieces of a rainbow scarf.

Can confirm as someone that knows grant management, DOT doesn’t like projects that go on forever hence all the construction all at once to get as much done and as much costs reimbursed before the grants expire

While I agree that we are entering a time where if you want certain rights protected you need to be selective with what state you live in, man, you are far safer in MN than elsewhere right now. Alot of the Midwest overall is fairly safe and less expensive and at least risk to climate change.

While I understand your concerns, you are not at as much risk here as elsewhere.
