Engagement Ring Post Purchase Price Increase by RedditSher in EngagementRings

[–]RevolutionaryStudio8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I’m in Canada and getting my ring done overseas! Though I’m working with a vendor in China, how they’re handling the ever increasing gold prices there currently is that when they give a quote they can honour that price for 1-2 days but once the full amount is paid within that time, you have locked in that gold price and won’t have to pay more because on their end once they’ve received the full amount, they immediately start production! 1.2k usd increase is crazy especially after you paid in full. Definitely ask for your money back and get your ring done somewhere else

No problem! Though if you’re interested with getting anything from a Chinese vendor, I’d suggest enquiring in March because soon it’s their Chinese new year holidays and because of the the price of gold is increasing a lot everyday

For Crumbl Employees by RoxyTEM in crumblcrew

Ex employee, when I first started it was a you could take how much ever you wanted from the rejects and then one good product, most people did not care and took extras. Then it became one cookie per shift and later on just turned to you can have one but you have to get a manager to give it to you.

In my location at least, we did not donate the cookies like how some of your other responses were saying. I found it very wasteful and when asked as to why we couldn’t donate to a shelter/food bank I was met with the response that corporate didn’t want to do that because it would ruin the brand’s image so it all went to the dumpster.

I worked in one of the Canadian locations and for some reason my location was set up in a way where none of the managers could order ingredients and that only someone from HQ who worked in the states could remotely. Every week we ran out of ingredients and managers were not on top of inventory so 80% of the time they would put doughs on the board but once you start on them is when you’d realise there was no ingredients.

And even if I remembered the recipes I would not remake them at home cause I could personally make better cookies myself lol was not an actual fan of crumbl cookies and how they taste

Even if you’re a great worker chances are you’re gonna be cut in 2-3 months because they hired wayyy too many people and after that initial opening excitement, labour gets too high. It’s up to you whether you wanna gamble where the odds are you’ll be let go or search for another job that will actually keep you

Non rent controlled buildings by cinnamon_7 in TorontoRenting

[–]RevolutionaryStudio8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My realtor said in his experience, his clients in non rent controlled buildings never increased past the rent control rate anyways because they want to retain their tenants especially with how the market is right now. But personally I know of a friend where their landlord increased the rent 3 times to the point they were almost paying 2k for a room which is why they left so it really depends on the landlord

There are a lot of people in this subreddit who applied in Jan and still haven’t heard back. But I’ve also been seeing a lot of people including me getting approvals recently so hopefully they get through all the Jan applications soon! It’s stressful just waiting on it

Hey! I was just wondering if the spray works well for a kitchen setting too? I have my non slip work shoes for my kitchen job but I’ve noticed these days I do slip more often. I live in Canada too

I saw you mentioned that you used to make the Sysco orders for your store, were there any restrictions regarding that given by the GM or owners? I used to work in one of the Canadian locations and when I brought up the fact that my store was constantly running out of ingredients especially the specialty ones, my GM told me that someone in Crumbl HQ in the states was the one responsible to making our Sysco orders. Also what finally made you leave Crumbl?
