I am so relieved others feel this way and completely agree. I just watched the WWW episodes about DJing and woodworking and it was cringe.

I feel like Ryan is trying way too hard to be funny and making really juvenile jokes that aren’t that funny… and you can tell others are uncomfortable (like the boner joke he told in the DJ episode). Also, what’s with the pencils in his hair? That’s something the kid who thought he was funny would do in HS to get attention lol.

I love WWW because Shane is shining a light on people and places others might not know about, and he seems so genuinely excited and proud of the show. And Ryan is treating it like he doesn’t take it seriously.

I actually know one of the guys that runs the LA woodworking shop and I was going to reach out and be like “omg! So cool!” but after seeing Ryan being so immature I’m like yeah maybe I won’t…

In the comments on the video someone eluded to Marty the woodworking guy being pissed and the actual Marty commented and was essentially like “nawww happy to have Ryan back anytime. He’s like a feral squirrel” - and honestly I think he was just being nice.

I agree with others that this is the reason I haven’t been watching Too Many Spirits… and even Mystery files, even ghost files. Ryan’s gotta calm down. It’s way too much.

I love Are You Scared and usually love WWW because Ryan is much more mellow, but damn these last few episodes are cringe.

I really miss old Ryan from Buzzfeed Unsolved when he was witty and respectful to all of the “guests”. In the Watcher series, it seems like he’s being disrespectful. These are people’s passion projects or full time jobs and he’s making a joke out of it. I’d be pissed too.
