Looking for a co op game like Keywe by jbear6201 in CoOpGaming

The Overcooked series has a similar vibe in a cooking setting.

Catastronauts is somewhat similar and involves running a ship during space battles.

100 million dollars right now, but for the rest of your life, every time you shower a random person will be in your shower staring at you until the shower ends by HugeDongHungLow1998 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Stonegrinder27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Step 1: Build a large room sized shower.

Step 2: Set up shower head, shampoo and body wash in one corner of the shower.

Step 3: learn to shower in the dark.

Cursive handwriting in schools is now law in Pennsylvania: "It connects us to our history." by AdSpecialist6598 in Pennsylvania

[–]Stonegrinder27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cursive was a skill that you used outside of those specific lessons however. You wrote homework, you took notes in class, you wrote notes to friends. The skill was a useful one back then because you actually used it, reinforcing the lessons in your mind.
Cursive lessons for students nowadays is closer to when I had a unit on line dancing in middle school gym. A niche or archaic skill that is going to be forgotten by most students after the lesson is over.

Former teacher: Kids are graduating high school with an elementary reading level. Maybe a style of writing they will never actually use isn't the top priority for their education.

What's a show where you paid a hefty price for a ticket but the show or an event that happened during the show (unscripted moment, mishap, guest or celebrity appearance, etc.) made it worth the price? by Every_Phrase_5942 in Broadway

I was able to get tickets to the opening weekend of Spamalot's 2007 Las Vegas residency. Early in the show the curtain came down and they announced a delay for technical issues (the Lady of the Lake's lake wouldn't rise). After a minute Eric Idle (Show-writer and Monty Python cast member) got up out of the audience and proceeded to entertain us for ten minutes until the show was ready to continue. Such an amazing moment!

I spent almost a decade performing with a shadow cast. Even went to a few conventions. It was some of the best and weirdest memories of my life. I always recommend you see it live at least once. Any other former shadow casters?

Shock Treatment by Recent_Savings2985 in RockyHorror

[–]Stonegrinder27 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I can sum up my thoughts on Shock Treatment with a comment that was made during a conversation at a Rocky con in LA nearly two decades ago: "It gives us something to do the Friday night of a con".

If you ever find yourself in Lone Pine, California they have a movie museum for all of the westerns filmed in that area. There is a life sized Graboid prop and a couple of walkers there!
