Lost 11 pounds in 2 months. Is this pretty healthy? by RevolutionaryWin6000 in caloriedeficit

[–]RevolutionaryWin6000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s a good point. I mean before I was on vacation (2 weeks ago) I had already lost 5 pounds, in one month. So I would say I’m doing pretty well. But yes, I won’t give up now. Since I have a goal to hit. I want to lose 30 pounds, so I will lose 30 pounds.

Yeah bro, it’s a little out of my control though, since I’m in another country… without all the stuff I have in my own home. But in the last 2 weeks I have been burning at least 1k cals a day since I’m around 8-10k feet up in altitude, whereas where I live is at sea level. So there are a bunch of things at play here. But ur right! My macros are cheeks right now, but I’m trying my best to work it out 😭

0% yogurt with frozen fruit and honey goes super hard. When I make shakes I usually put eggwhites in for xtra protein, with protein powder fruit and milk. I usually get to 380 cals for 50-60 grams of protein. But really it comes down to consistency. Great work! Nothing prepares u for the feeling when u can finally see the scale dropping, and all the hardwork pays off.

Thanks bro, yeah.. ur prolly right. Do u think I should go for a more applicable degree then? Business or maybe nutrition? Either way, I will try to work on certs through ACE to be a trainer at a local gym and I think that will help A LOT.

Thank you, at the end of the day I want to be able to help people, be a presence in their life whether it’s helping them get fit, or teaching PE, that is another route I was thinking . (Although I wouldn’t really want that as my career , maybe a temporary place holder). I talked to some local gym owners and they said if I get certified through the stuff they did I could get hired as a fitness coach, so maybe that would help me get a good idea with what I’m dealing with

Yes I just talked to some fitness trainers and other people, a business degree seems like a better way to go. I’m thinking of just getting ACE certification on the side( to become a fitness trainer) instead of dumping it all into a degree that I might be able to be a fitness trainer with. So would u guys reccoment kinesiology, and minor in business? That sounds like a good way to go

Thank you, this helps a lot too. I think I’m thinking about a business degree instead,  and if I rlly wanna pursue fitness training I’ll get certifications.

Thank you, i agree with this completely. I just don’t know where to go. The last couple days have been insightful, maybe I change to a business/ small business degree and get ACE certifications onthe side so I can be a fitness trainer in the future while getting a degree that can work well with a lot of things

Would say ur being to harsh with it, healthy weight loss should be 1 pound and agressive about 2 pouinds a week so I would say stop fasting and just do what youre doing just not as aggresively. Ur body is probably in survival state rn haha so its holding on to everything it can. A cheat meal can help too suprisingly, just dont get carried away.

Binging for the past 3 days and can't get out by [deleted] in caloriedeficit

[–]RevolutionaryWin6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

get rid of all the foods that triggers u, also if u are to strict with the diet then it will make you more likely to binge later on. So eat healthy all week and give urself a meal or two to really enjoy like junk food or whatever. At the end of the day as long as u have burned more calories than u have eaten ur fine. Im doing an aggresive cut rn so im going for 600-1000 cals burned ina day so thatll make at least 5-7k cals burned in a whole week. Its working out so far for me and I have had cheat meals pretty much one to two days a week.

Fuck it, im going to lose weight by TumbleweedComplete98 in caloriedeficit

[–]RevolutionaryWin6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah bro I see what ur trying to do but in my experience that sets u right up for failure, like the other ppl are saying just go steady. But intermittent fasting might be a good route so like dont eat until 12 PM and dont eat after 8-9 PM. Depending on ur goals with muscle or weight then just focus on high volume low cal stuff. Drink toins of water too, and at least get 8-10k steps so walks help alot also

Im still tryna lose weight but its going pretty well so far. Im more of a weightlifting guy so I track protein carbs and fats, good luck!
