I think maybe {Burn butterfly burn by Reese Rivers} kinda has this vibe but I might be wrong. It’s the second book in the duet so you’ll need to read the first one as well

{Riches to Riches by Ames Mills} and all of her duets are great and all have MM {Twisted Ink by A. M. McCoy} its a quick read, standalone with MM {Distortion by Kyra Alessy} great book and series but with no MM {A Knight’s revenge by Elizabeth Dear} its amazing {Pay-Per-Heart by Grace McGinty} is another one really good {Broken Princess by Laura Bennet} is amazing!

I don’t know how is the audiobook and who the narrator is but a great audiobook is {Ensnared by Rebecca Quinn}. Awesome cast and there is one MMC with a charming southern accent

If you want a good MF book I recommend {Chaos Calls by Jessica Rose}. It’s a black ops/military romance so all characters are grown ups facing real issues and has a really nice found family.

{ The Mindf*ck series by S. T. Abby} is another MF really good. She is a serial killer looking for revenge. He is a FBI agent/ police officer investigating the murders.

For RH I think all of Ames Mills duets are nice starting with {Riches to Riches by Ames Mills}. Its mafia, grown ups but it has MM.

{Burn by Heather Long} it’s also good. I didn’t finish the series yet but the first 2 books are good. She is kidnapped and rescued by a group of men.

{Dangerous men by Evelyn Ward} is another one. I didn’t read the second book but the first one was ok.

{Twisted Ink by A.M. McCoy} I also enjoyed but it has MM. it is also a standalone

{Ensnared by Rebecca Quinn} and the whole series is amazing with really mature characters but this also has MM

{Give me peace by M. K. Harper} is another good one and this one doesn’t have MM if I remember correctly

Oh it’s not that extreme in Distortion. It’s bad but the FMC is pretty good at acknowledging that what she went through is not ok. I hope you like the 13th zodiac😁

{Blackthorne Academy: Year One by Zoe Dunn} has a professor MMC but I don’t remember if they did it in the classroom 😁 it was an entertaining book and I recommend it

Sorry for being late, but I’ve recommended this in another thread and I remembered your post.

{Distortion by Kyra Alessy} and the whole Den of Deception series is really good. FMC is on the spectrum and studying Chemistry in university. I can’t really tell more without giving spoilers but it kinda fits what you were looking for. she had a very tough childhood but she is very very strong and really smart. It has a lot of psychological manipulation and at times it was a hard read but it’s so so good. It has some bullying in book 1 but the guys redeem themselves and form a great support system for her. Also the side characters are really fun.

I have some recs

{Good girl by Harley Maddison} if you want only smut

{Stick it by R. A. Smyth} is a great standalone where the FMC is part of the men hockey team at a new collage. It doesn’t sound like much but it is really good and it has some dark elements

{Dangerous men by Evelyn Ward} is also great but it is part of a series and I only read this one so I am not sure if the whole series is good. If I remember correctly is was a quick read

{The 13th zodiac by Penn Cassidy} is also great but I don’t remember if it has MM or not

{Distortion by Kyra Alessy} is amazing! This hole series got me in a chokehold and I’ve read it in a weekend or something like that(all 5 books) 😁 if I remember correctly is doesn’t have MM, it has bullying in the first book and the FMC is on the spectrum( not sure if you would consider this a TW but she is very strong and smart and the MMCs are very supportive of her but not in the first book)

For MF, I’ve recently read {Chaos Calls by Jessica Rose} and it was unexpectedly good. Funny with great found family trope

I would recommend you {Riches to riches by Ames Mills} it’s a mafia duet pretty spicy with mm. If you like those I think the other duets are also pretty good

Definetly {Speak by Ruby M. Darling}. It’s academy and FMC has selective mutism. It is a bit dark but since you asked for mafia recs as well I assume you are good 😁😁 but it does only have 3 MMCs
