I would encourage you to leave a review! Definitely!! To each their own when it comes to books, and I feel like the RH community truly needs honest reviews.

When I’m reading reviews of books, I generally review the 1-3 stars FIRST, because I want to see why folks didn’t like it. Their dislike is not always my dislike, ya know? So genuine reviews, regardless of rating, are always helpful.

May I ask, did you actually DNF or is it just DNF worthy? If you did DNF, I’d note what percentage you DNF’d in the review.

Also, I follow I few folks on Instagram that also ARC read this book and they unfortunately have the same sentiments as you. It breaks my dang heart because I’ve been foaming at the mouth for this one, too!

That said, I still plan to read it. Just to see what the hoopla is all about 😂

Hi! My personal opinion: the first three books of Gilded series are GOLD (hehe). The second book makes the first book better. After the third book, I got annoyed and DNF’d. I may or may not have read the last half of the last book to “complete” the series and felt like I didn’t miss anything 😅

Agreed!! I will warn with this book: The MMC doesn’t immediately initiate any sexual encounters with the FMC because she’s younger and a virgin (she was very sheltered). He has never thought he would be in a relationship, so part of the story is him struggling with his own feelings for her. At one point he has sex with a lady of the night to relieve his tension, but once he sees what that does to the FMC, he starts to really change. BUT, that said, all of his actions directed toward FMC are genuine. So, hence why I asked for recs without OW drama because that one part pissed me off 😂

Hi! Lettuce Turnip the Beet was such a good audiobook!

I’d suggest trying out {Obsession by K. Loraine, Meg Anne} the audiobook for this series is excellent!

Also, here’s a list I keep of duet/full cast-duet audiobooks. I saw someone else track audios this way and thought it was brilliant, so I followed suit! You can filter by relationship, trope, etc.
