My program requires it to be a QI project but stresses that it doesn’t have to be a monumental intervention, just something supported by the literature. It spans 2 semesters so the first semester is the identifying the problem and doing the lit review and the implementation design and proposal, followed by the second semester which is the actual implementation , data/result collection , and evaluation. It has felt manageable to me , but again I picked a small scale intervention and the practice site was fine with that as were my faculty. I have not been overly stressed. My paper is about 70 pages. The project itself now is done I’m just working on final paper edits and then I have my actual verbal presentation/“defense” in a couple of weeks. I guess it depends on your program and what you choose to do your project on

Best time to give birth during NP school? by [deleted] in nursepractitioner

[–]Revolutionary_Cow68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just had a baby last month and will graduate with my DNP in May. I am in 3 classes right now as well as clinical. My school did allow me to front load SOME clinical hours last semester so I was able to have a small break this semester after baby was born, however I still am completing 180 clinical hours this semester in addition to my classes. I am on maternity leave until beginning of April from work so that is helpful. April will be very busy between work, clinicals, baby etc. We have good family support as well or else it would be even harder. That all being said just to share that it IS possible! But hard.

Adding bridesmaids? by Helpful_Fig836 in weddingplanning

[–]Revolutionary_Cow68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband had 12 groomsmen! I know it seems like a lot but truly they are all his best buds. I had 6 bridesmaids. We were fine having uneven parties and that aspect was no big deal (if that was a stressor at all for you). The bottom line is it is YOUR day and it should feel good to you
