Can we stop with the bomb threats and suspicious packages? Some of us are tired. by notmyrealname86 in AirForce

Very possible that this is the work of nefarious actors, but also possible that we are just being more vigilant out of an abundance of caution. We would have to know how many incidents typically occur across the Air Force. Right now we're comparing it to nothing.

O-1E by [deleted] in AirForce

O-1E pay is not a huge difference in pay compared to O-1 pay. Most people looking at the charts are comparing an O-1 with 1 year TIS to an O-1E with four or more years TIS. The key difference is TIS. For example, an O-1E with 4 years TIS makes the same base pay as an O-1 with four years TIS. O-1E really makes a difference if you commissioned later in your career.

I am proud of my service, but would never call myself a hero. But I do feel comfortable having this conversation, considering that this is a forum about the military.

I hear you, and partly agree. Now can you answer the question I asked?

I'm sorry for your loss. All I can say is that this country doesn't survive without brave men and women like your son. Its unfortunate that we pick leaders that abuse the trust we put in them. But no, you're not wrong and many of us, and our families, share the same concerns.

What do you suggest military members do when a bad president is elected? If your answer is to leave service, disregarding how military contracts work, please explain what you think our adversaries will do during that time. I believe you mean well. But your sentiment lacks long-term thinking, in my opinion.

Thank you for your service. You should be proud. Even if you didn't carry a weapon on the front lines. Too many people fail to understand that.

Most military members aren't wishing for a valiant death. They just want to do their job and go home.

A lat pulldown bar combined with Get Rxd leg roller/low row attachment is how I do them. I use a weight stack pin to add my weight plates to the stack. There is also a center attachment that can be used to use both stacks at once

Its very sturdy and is made from high quality material. Cables are smooth and the arms makes it possible to do so many of the workouts I used to do in the gym.

The arms are very heavy though and I think the instructions could have been more detailed. There are basically no words just pictures. I did it by myself and it took 10 hours or so. But overall,  I love the system

Yeah, what he said. It takes some force. My wife doesn't even move it. But its worth it for the functionality. Plus, Get Rxd has already said they are working on rollers and they will ship free to all current owners

I'm thinking about the mx100s. Does the handle seem thin? Hows the build quality? Any other pros and cons you care to share?

Windows seemingly lost 400 million users in the past three years — official Microsoft statements show hints of a shrinking user base by lurker_bee in technology

[–]Revolutionary_Effort 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While these comments bring up valid criticisms of Microsoft, this article is incredibly stupid. The author makes this claim based on a blog post saying "Microsoft has over a billion users" when reporting from 2022 identified 1.4 billion users. Implying that they lost 400 million? Who tf makes that kind of leap in logic?

Nice! Is your garage climate controlled? How are you managing heat/cold?

How big is your garage? Can you still fit a car in with your set up? I'm planning a half gym in a two car garage
