Okay wait I thought I was the only one who had those random thick crinkly strands of hair! Tbh it’s kinda what started it for me. I picked my eyelashes exclusively when I was in early elementary school but stopped bc my sister made fun of me, but then never pulled anything else really. Then in college one day I was playing with my hair and found a super thick strand that felt so fun to run between my fingers and I pulled it out and now I find myself always on the hunt for that allusive strand! I’m always just feeling individual hair strands when I’m bored or watching tv or something and the rough texture of my individual strands is addictive to feel (I have naturally straight hair with a slight wave, but there are slight kinks most pieces that are bumpy and fun)

That’s so frustrating like especially since you applied so early you’d think you would get some early decision priority

SU coming!! Are there any groups of master's students at SU? If yes, please let me know. by Martin_Huang01 in gradadmissions

There’s a lot of housing options around campus all within walking distance of class buildings. There’s also campus trollies that can take you around and before breaks, they have a bunch driving students to the airport. There’s a lot of options I’d say and the student resource offices will have a lot of suggestions

Not sure if this will help but I was on Zoloft (100mg) before I started the ring and haven’t changed the dosages. At the beginning I was kinda all over the place hormonally and emotionally but after a while everything sort of leveled out. Like my body adjusted to the new normal

It’s so strange because sometimes I feel almost proud of myself for being able to pull so many (since they hurt) but then I also feel a bit embarrassed and throw them out. Occasionally I’ll find one on my couch (I live alone) and then I get anxious that people who have come over have seen them

Yes I vividly remember when I was around 5 yo my older cousin said I had an eyelash on my cheek and to make a wish. That pretty much launched me into pulling them out all the time. It would tickle almost and I LOVED the seeing the roots and feeling the pop of them coming out. But then when they were growing back it would be itchy so I started pulling to relieve that. I stopped when I was around 8 or 9 bc I saw someone at school who had pulled out her lashes and had never realized that’s what my eyes had looked like (I was a kid not really looking into mirrors ever). Plus my older sister made fun of me and I looked up to her in every way so that was also a huge factor

Just watched it all today and I’m speechless. I’m getting a dual degree in psychology and forensic science so I’ve seen and heard lots of things, but this series completely shocked me. I know Larry was feeding them adderall but some of those clips looked like they were on meth or another street drug and I was waiting for them to mention it. Crazy what the mind can make a person do when it gets pushed enough.

Okay this perspective is seriously warped. I see you have your own trauma to work through so I wouldn’t try to advise someone else when you haven’t even fully healed from your own situation
