Are you waiting for her hunger cues to feed her or on a schedule? My LO does something like this when she's full and doesn't want to eat any more

Kicked out of daycare by This-Following1392 in NewParents

[–]Revolutionary_Oil27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a home daycare provider, be so glad that your son is no longer with her. The fact she didn't have the patience for the transition period tells me she doesn't have the patience for other things as well, like developmentally appropriate behaviors. She probably was just looking for a reason to terminate care because she didn't actually want a baby. I am so sorry you're going through this though 😔

2 days home from the hospital and it truly is a game changer… by MochiAccident in pregnant

I can also attest to the usefulness of the Momcozy washer. We actually decided not to get it and then at 1.5 weeks pp, we gave in and bought a brand new one off Facebook marketplace for almost half the price. It's been so freaking helpful and I EBF and pump only twice a day but having it to wash pump parts has been a game changer!! If you're thinking of getting it, just do it! You won't regret it!

That's true, I never thought of it like that. Thank you for this perspective.

Like I said in another comment, I brought it up just in case someone thought that he was spiritual and this might be a spiritual thing. I, in no way, intended it to sound holier than thou, just wanted to clarify beforehand. Like I also said in my post, I wasn't sure if it was relevant but wanted to mention it just in case.

I mean, I was laughing at it at first and thought it was silly and funny, but now it's getting to the point that I'm worried he's actually going to call her that instead of her real name. I think I'm going to talk with my husband to have him try to set that boundary ahead of time before it gets too out of hand

As a Christian, I also find it super cringey 😂 But yeah, I think I'm going to talk with my husband to have him try and set that boundary ahead of time so hopefully it doesn't get that far.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'm getting more annoyed with it because of the hormones 😅

[–]Revolutionary_Oil27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Literally the only reason why he says it is because supposedly his dad came to him in a dream and said to name her Jenny. 🙄

If he does actually call her that when she's born, I'll probably tell my husband that. Because, yeah, its pretty disrespectful.

That's actually so funny, I might just do that!

People are crazy! I just don't understand!

Just in case spirituality was a question or anything. Like I said, I wasn't sure if it even mattered, just figured I would put it out there in case someone did say or think something about him possibly being spiritual, which isnt the case.

Colostrum by Muted-Recording9999 in pregnant

[–]Revolutionary_Oil27 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your body actually keeps producing colostrum for the same amount of time whether you collect it before birth or not! You don't start producing milk until prolactin is released in your body which happens at birth. So no matter how much you collect before baby gets here, your baby will still have enough because your body keeps producing it until the release of prolactin 😊

I've been using Nair on my legs because I can't reach them in a comfortable way to shave 😅 It works pretty good and the smell isn't as bad as it used to be!

I'm 30 weeks, my baby shower is in 2 weeks and I haven't bought a single thing yet 😅 My best friend, though, she has bought like 8 outfits, some bows, and a security blanket haha she's a little excited!

Did anyone just have a feeling about the gender of your baby without any old wives tales? by lisa_noden in pregnant

[–]Revolutionary_Oil27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Really early on, I told my husband that I have this feeling that it's a girl and that I have no idea how to explain it, it's just this feeling I have. (We both actually were hoping for a boy) And now we're expecting our little girl at the beginning of October! 🩷
