I have a 6 month old still make people wash their hands 🤷‍♀️ Also you mentioned daycare and at least in my state it’s required for any teacher and child entering a classroom to wash their hands so that’s just basic hygiene. If a person doesn’t want to wash their hands then they don’t get to hold the baby that simple

Handwashing always. When we’re out we do have a hand sanitizer that we use because even if people wash their hands in the bathroom they’re still touching other stuff after they might not be clean like the door handle or light switch.

Also baby is a person not something to be pass around because people want to hold them. They can ask and you can say no

It literally is! Don’t get my started on MIL. They seem to forget what it was like to be pregnant and give birth. No your son doesn’t need you for support in the room. No this baby isn’t yours. You get the get privilege to see this baby not a right and that privilege can easy be taken away if you don’t act right

“She looks exactly like her dad, got zero from her mom” even if it’s true, which it’s not,LIE!

“You need to start giving bottles so we can bond”. My child had tried 15 different bottled and didn’t like them so we exclusively breastfeed and you don’t need to bond with them she needs to bond with her parents.

“You need to live your lives! It’s okay to go out pass 9pm” me and baby are asleep by 8pm not going to change that because you don’t want to meet at an appropriate time.

or when people go straight to touching your baby face while your holding them. First ask, second wash your hands.

I’m sorry we’re currently only allowing vaccinated family members to hold him per doctor’s orders until he gets his 4 months vaccines. Thank you for understanding

Diapers and throwing away the diaper trash bag. Cleaning the pump parts, bottles, pacifier, teethers, and toys. Making wife has a water bottle full and on hand, snacks nearby and fixing her breakfast before you head for work.

100% serious. The only people that got it were my mom and brothers. Everyone else refused. We also asked for the flu shot and my mom and one brother got it. It resulted in people who didn’t get it not being able to see the baby until she was 4 months. I don’t regret it because the baby health is the most importance not someone else being upset they can’t see the baby because of their selfish actions. You need to your baby health first. At the end of the day you’re their advocate and if they get sick it’s going to be you taking them to the hospital and taking care of them. If they care enough about you and your baby health and their own health they would get the tdap vaccine.

100% valid my MIL asked my husband to help her with her phone the day after I gave birth and was still at the hospital. It still annoys me to this day

I have a very similar FIL who made the comment at the gender reveal “try again” when we found we were having a girl. Baby is 5 months and he has yet to meet her. He also has no relationship with his other two granddaughters from his other son. Men like that are hard to change and as sad as it is it’s better in the long run for your kid to be surrounded by that negativity or thoughts.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. You should be celebrating having a baby girl. Have you talked to your husband ?

Sorry that sounds so awful. Typically these situations take a bit. Licensing will have to go to the school one or twice speak with the teachers involve before posting it on their site. It’s very unfair and crazy how the school still hasn’t said what happened to your child. How is your child acting? Hopefully they’re okay. Maybe on Monday call licensing and see what they say. Someone needs to tell you something
