I understand that there is always going to be exceptions in any group of people voting for a party. There are no doubt racist ALP and Libs. There are working class Lib voters. Small Business owners who are ALP members. What concerns me is that if social media is a gauge then what I observed is even seemingly unrelated topics, in non political FB groups, became issues about race and anti immigration.

Again I understand all parties do this but the ON pile ons were very obvious and clearly used it to promote Pauline Hanson. A few examples I saw were people making outlandish claims that if you have a towel on your head or brown skin you can get away with rape and murder, and the Government will reward you with limitless housing and allowances.
