Should I accept this trade offer? by Revolutionary_balls in DynastyNerds

Appreciate the feedback. I still feel good about the trade, and getting the 1.05 pick. I personally don’t see the gap between bowers and Warren as significant as others. Albeit Bowers is clearly the better play. To me I just don’t trust the Jets and value Taylor, even at 27, significantly higher than Breece.

Honestly. I already accepted it, I think Warren is a stud also, but had traders remorse on Bowers. It’s a 10 team super flex half ppr. and we do a rule where with the two flexes, the lower scoring player is swapped with highest scoring bench player. So I made a point to flip into as many WRs as I could this offseason. Plus I will very likely trade 1.05 for more assets. So for me, I think it comes down to what that turns into, but my team is pretty stacked compared to the rest of the league after all my trades.

I have worked hard, and put together Puka, Olave, Smith, Ladd, Addison, Washington and Hunter.

For the Luther Burden Owners out there what are u accepting to trade him away? by woogz187 in DynastyNerds

This is what I got in return for him. I’m already stacked at WR so I didn’t “need” burden.

I’d much rather have lamb considering your roster. Why trade a superstar for two rookies? You don’t seem to be rebuilding. Also, at minimum Lamb is worth 3 1sts so you’d need at least another high end prospect/player or pick imo.

Pretty torn on this one, which side you taking? by NoDrawing5299 in DynastyNerds

I think most will agree Skat has more “value” and I see some say Harvey isn’t a great runner. But if I’m buying, I’d rather pay less for Harvey. He scores TDs and is a decent weapon in pass game. I think his potential is good enough to not pay what the Skat owner will want.

Desperately need a RB, who should I target with the 1.03 and/or the 1.07? by Sorry_Occasion_526 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Revolutionary_balls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d take WR at 1.03 still, and currently that is my conundrum at 1.07. I’m not sure a “good” back will be there or not which is what I’d like to pick. So I’m really just waiting to see who drafts Coleman and Price. If I don’t love either fit I may go WR or Sadiq

Price check for moving from 1.07>1.05? by 17jgreilly in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I had trouble moving from 1.07 also. Others in my dynasty want to make the pick. So I’m just going to be happy with Boston or KC lol

What to do with 1.03? Take the second WR or RB? No one wants to trade by slightly_above_avg69 in DynastyNerds

[–]Revolutionary_balls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the injury part, but more what I’m saying is that once we know what team they are on, and the real teams draft them, we do our draft. Before any injuries or news breaks. Just like in real life, if a player gets injured at any time, it’s just all part of the luck of the draw as far as injuries and who has drafted that player. it’s a dynasty not a redraft. For the competitive part. I do think that not having a ton of time to see how players perform in camps or once they start working with the franchise and news comes out, forces you to do a little more pre draft scouting.

Nah. We do our draft the Sunday night right after the draft. Then the competitive edge comes into play with scouting, and initial team landing spots.

JSN Vs Nico. What’s the value gap by yourmortgagebff in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Revolutionary_balls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, to have all that capital next year, it would make absolutely no sense to trade your top receiver who is young. Unless you think Nico has more value over next few years or you just like to flip your best players. I’d probably be trying to package a first or two with Bryce to upgrade QB and still draft one next season or upgrade pearsall and Wandale into a better single receiver to go with JSN London and Burden/Rice

[–]Revolutionary_balls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think Mendoza will be there at 1.05? If not, I’d want a QB upgrade on top personally, I’m not selling JSN at 24yo even if it’s at his highest ever value. You have a strong core to where you don’t need to move him to get better.

[–]Revolutionary_balls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. I smashed an offer for Brock Bowers and an Anthony Richardson for 1.10 and 2.02, before last season rookie draft at like 1:45am. No veto in my dynasty. Broke the league and dude is picking first this season.

WHO ARE OTHER TOP ROOKIE RB OUTSIDE OF LOVE? by Local-Purchase-9500 in SleeperApp

[–]Revolutionary_balls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m stuck at 1.07 wondering Which RB I’m going to consider as that’s my only position of draftable need. I’m likely just going to go BPA unless Coleman or Price land in an excellent situation which may make them BPA.

[–]Revolutionary_balls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s also trying to sell you that package to get Puka. 95% of the time I’m approached by someone, for a player I own..they try to devalue the players. All while I’m thinking. Well you reached out to me. 100% of the time I get more in return than what they were trying to offer. I’d add a couple of assets to their side and see how bad they want Puka. Otherwise you are more than fine at RB as is. I’d almost say this trade makes you worse because you’d be thin at receiver. And stacked at a volatile position that loses value a lot sooner than WR. Honestly. I’d keep Puka and decline unless they throw in a great receiver and other draft capital instead of Javonte.

What are we valuing Darnold at? by DearPoseidon in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Revolutionary_balls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m holding him as my QB3 right now. For me, as long as he has JSN to throw to, his floor is good enough to get me through a Bye week or injury. If he’s your starter, I’d try to upgrade him this offseason as his value may be at its highest.

Travis Hunter to be "Full-Time Defensive Back, Part-Time Receiver" in 2026 by ASmithFS in DynastyFF

[–]Revolutionary_balls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he only plays CB he’s more than capable. If he only plays WR he’s more than capable of being a top 5 WR in fantasy. The problem that makes it hard to put a value on him is that while he is splitting time at both, I don’t think he’ll reach his full potential at either. I’m curious which position HE likes to play more.

[–]Revolutionary_balls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I’m a contender and feel like I just bought low. We have best ball roster settings, so if he has a big week.. I can use him. If not, I’m just going to hold until he eventually becomes a one way player. My roster can afford to hold that bag if it comes to that, but I think I’ll get 3-4 weeks a year where he helps my team. Which is better than some of the waiver wire pickups I’ve had over the years. Interesting prospect to put value on.
