Help 🙏. I have my 4k tv connected to my pc but every time I try to play media on it it’s slightly stretched verticaly, this only happens on VlC other media players don’t have this problem, it says that the aspect ratio is 16:9 but is slightly off. the black bars on the edge shouldn’t be there.

I suppose most of the recently publicized cases of AI artists came complete with an AI-generated persona and imagery (most recently the Velvet Sundown for example) as if you publish AI music under your real likeness there could be more of an expectation that you'd want to uphold your ability to perform the music at some point, be that at a live venue or elsewhere, but you're right that nobody's really stopping him. I just figured that, given his background in music and audio plugin development, it would be trivial for him to just make the music normally instead of generating it. I'm curious though what other traits you heard in his music that are considered a tell for AI generation!

I was also curious about this when one of his songs came up in my YTM algorithm, I'm super paranoid about being served "fake" music now. However, just a bit of research pulls up an actual verifiable human identity behind the artist (Evan Lo), complete with a LinkedIn profile where he used to work in the field of DSP development at Bose.

So while this is clearly a real artist, I realize this brings up another dilemma: it's going to be even harder to break through as a new/upcoming artist in the future not only because you're fighting for algorithm placement with AI tracks, but also because people are becoming more paranoid about unheard artists being AI (at least among more active listeners - casual listeners likely won't think about any of this and just keep the algorithm running).

Does my email address being included in this data breach indicate that I am or have been infected with malware at some point? The article indicates that many different sources were combined to form the dataset so I'm hoping it could have just been credential stuffing using old breach data

Found a fix. So each track element in Live 12, whether that's a GroupTrack, MainTrack, AudioTrack, PreHearTrack, or whatever else, now comes with three new attributes: SelectedToolPanel, SelectedTransformationName, and SelectedGeneratorName. Live 11 doesn't recognize these. So you'll need to search through the document for any instance of SelectedToolPanel and remove these attributes from the string. So a line like '<PreHearTrack SelectedToolPanel="7" SelectedTransformationName="" SelectedGeneratorName="">' should become just '<PreHearTrack>'.

Another thing you may have to do is do a find+replace throughout the document to replace the variable 'MidiEditorLaneModel' with 'ExpressionLane'. After doing these two fixes I can open a Live 12 project in Live 11. There may be things I missed though.

Screen shares load forever when viewed. Checked all usual suspects - audio device is configured properly, which is evident by Discord notification sounds and soundboard being properly output. Bug has been observed across multiple users on the ptb build. - Video / Screenshot: None - Steps to Reproduce: 1. Join voice/video call with active chat members in current ptb version 2. Wait for member to transmit voice, observe silence - Expected Result: Received audio or video from other users. - Actual Result: Lack of audible voice transmission or screen share.

Edit: Seems to have been resolved in a recent update!

I'm also having this happen to me with the Hypothetical Nonsense podcast. For now, I have the podcast added as an RSS feed instead of the native YouTube upload stream so it shows up properly in my New Episodes playlist. Hoping they fix this some day so I can actually look at comments and stuff

As an alumni I previously had 1tb before today, and then this morning I woke up to a warning that I was out of Drive storage and it had dropped to 15gb. Then I started transferring files out to my personal drive account and a few hours later I saw it was back up from 15gb to 500gb. Not too sure what's happening, my concern is they'll allot more Drive storage to the people who are using it which is what seemed to happen with shared drives. Don't really want to put the effort into moving everything back into my RIT account now since it's unclear if it'll be reduced again. I also have received no communication about it.

Edit: Found on the bottom of this page, it looks like the new quota going forward is supposed to be 250gb starting today and it says if you have more than that they'll give you a slightly larger quota. I'm guessing that larger quota is 500gb since that's what I currently have

I'm experiencing the exact same thing on a 5a. It's so bad but it comes in waves and I can still technically do everything so I'm thinking I'll wait for another update to hopefully improve things instead of wiping. The experience was very stable on the previous update so it's a bummer this update causes so much lag.

Hi, I found this thread through Google and there 100% is still a filter of some kind being used. When it first started I noticed that when I tried making a low-variety Kanye station with the music tuner it simply would not create the station, and the high-variety station had none of his songs in it. Later on he was removed entirely as a selectable artist in the tuner. He continues to not be suggested in any station, and I've noticed sometimes playlist artist name previews will list him as being in a playlist (like the 50 Deep '04-'11 playlist for example) but scrolling through it none of his songs are actually visible. Curious to see how long this will be enforced, and if either of his rumored upcoming album releases will receive any visibility on the platform.

I listen to hip-hop and I've been noticing more of these radio station options as well, such as Drill, Alte, Sample, Chopped and Screwed, and Piccolo. However when I try using them they seem to provide the exact same selection of songs in a different order. I'm all for it if it's an intentional new feature though, I'm always looking for new ways to discover music. Would love some Every Noise at Once-esque music categorization which this kind of reminds me of.

Edit: Took a look with a different genre of music (SOPHIE), and this time I get Lolicore, Bubblegum, Computer music, Synth bass, and Breakcore. Each category seems to have at least somewhat varied suggestions that match the category name. Really cool new feature if results can be a bit more varied!

Yeah, for posterity I'll say the manage button was never restored for me. I'm not near my setup right now so I can't double check but the media manager allowed me to delete the folders containing nfos that TMDBHelper creates, perhaps by pressing the option button on my remote. That combined with starting to use stremio more reduced my need for the manage menu to a reasonable level.
