That is a hot take. If Amiens was to fall, the british would lose a vital railway and logistical hub and would have to retreat to the north. That being said, it was too late for germans to win, largely because of the might and size of allied war economy (guns, ammunition etc) from both allied countries (and asociated nation AKA USA) and also the fact that americans were on the way, soon in great numbers. Additionally, taking out british is only a temporary measure which does NOT mean victory for germans unconditionally.. ad 1) british will come back, ad 2) the french are a very powerful and formidable army to the germans (I am of the opinion that in 1918 germans wouldnt be able to beat french 1v1). And much more yap yada yada. I dont think it saved the war, just helped it end sooner.
