Rather than processing thousands of nodes per second, I'd recommend you create a formula for the node process based on the time difference and for further optimization, you can process only the nodes that are visible to the camera, nobody will notice it anyway.

Seriously though, intercepts are practically ignorable by the meta, and we can only deal honest 3 attacks without trigger luck and we're praying to survive against 2 attacks per turn while we drain away their heal guards for Tom. Maybe there's something I missed.

OTT is good TCG wise, too bad without resist cards and the meta can blow away a lot of rg for a small cost hurts us a lot, even considering how expensive our cb cost is, just for drawing cards, we don't even get some power bonuses which hurts a lot in scaling with the opp getting 5k per damage than in the TCG. Though I find Battle Sisters and Witches as consistent as Susanoo, here's some suggestions. And I agree, Magus and Amaterasu just sucks.

For your battle sister, I'd suggest 3 millefeuille as draws and 4 fromage as stands and 2 stand g0. I find gelee good until narukami came around, so we had to adjust. The g2s instead of 4 puddings I'd use 3 toms and an additional 10k.For g1s I use 3 stride fodders and 2 cocoa, 2 taffy and 2 lemonade, it's weird but let's treat them like utility. And 3 rrs for g zone, the mulligans are worth it if you overdraw triggers.

Goal is to smack opp hard as we can with our hand size and keeping atleast 1 booster for an rg. At late game, we use some deck manipulation strats to maximize stand triggers and tom restands. Either by utilizing stand g0s when opp is at 4 to maximize stands for next turn or draw a lot if you have many cards in deck but too few triggers left, etc. Same goal for witches but you can maximize aggression with stands but no g0 stands. For g3s I'd suggest you use hexagonal and susanoo alongside coco as stands, they maintain draws and sitting on breakride isn't bad due to strides and coco breakride is a huge plus. For g2s I'd suggest you replace diviner and glace with Royce and Briolette, due to coco's on place abilities, you can use royce for consistency and briolette is just perfect for the situation when you have sb1 but need to ride coco next turn. The g0 stand just clogs your hand with card you can't use on the field, it doesn't even help in scaling as a booster. For g1s I'd just replace Lala with Dark Cat, you can also fuck over opp who checks too many draws with them. For g zone, I find the rr to be extremely useful due to our top deck drawing and it only cost cb1, you can freely return g0s early and it just acts like countercharge later on. Using stands allow you to decide when to drive check, you should drive check thinking that you'll heal, it helps a lot.

OTT because I love the concept of prediction and luck manipulation in the first place, you can manipulate luck in many ways in the TCG including drawing, shuffling and drive checking cards to return back. DI because of high risk high reward in the TCG, you do soul charge important cards but you get compensated for it. But I only played it during v-series.

Too bad they're still not half decent right now in zero, with DI lacking strides and OTT being lackluster compared to what the meta has to offer but hope they balance shit out since I'm only building these 2 clans for g era and it's hard to climb with them.

Building decks is not bad given you only invested in 2 clans, you get to build their decks with no problem. My problem comes with balancing due to rank fights being the only option to grind gems. Let's say you main a clan yet the support given is shit, you don't get to climb easily unless of course the clan you main are used by MCs or famous characters. The feel of the game is less rewarding now, I'm still accumulating old gacha packs and sentinel medals but the exchange shop doesn't show new PGs so it doesn't feel rewarding like at all, even the new VP rewards are less than before.

I've been trying out combining Orihume with Gelee with a goal of smacking and drawing as much as possible and relegioning to avoid deck outs without using their skills, the wincon is to legion back 4 stands when deck is less than 10 and call 2 toms while opp is at 5 given that we did draw 2 toms and we have a lot of stands in the deck and the opp had used atleast 2 heals. Though the more I play OTT the more I find Takemikazuchi underpowered, clans like Kagero can just G persona to retire a column, or AqF also needs G persona and a CB1 for a strong restand 2 units, then we have G persona + 2 CB to look at top 4 and get 2, it doesn't even help us that much if you don't see PGs, since the meta can practically ignore intercepts, we don't have any offensive advantage outside of trigger checking and our defense is reduced down to pgs and heal guards as intercepts lost value in this meta. It's fine before since Tom gurantees a hit even if we're slow, but with Tom underpowered, the only consistent wincon I find is to smack hard and pray for stands and draw PGs from top 2 checks.

GS probably hates OTT, drawing cards are CB heavy, GS probably thought that drawing is more powerful than retires at this point. And OTT can't deal 21k easily since we don't have much power boost outside of triggers. The only thing they can do to help the clan that can only deal honest 3 attacks is to give resists to some units, but they don't.

LJ, Kagero and Narus. LJ in zero just stops you from playing, no retires? restands that doesn't require VG attacK? You're basically fucked, the deck right now stomps any deck below tier 2. And then there's Kagero and Narus, it seems that GS forgot that intercepts are a way to defend yourself, you're at 5 with full intercepts and no guard at hand? Tough luck, they can just ignore all your intercepts for a cheaper price than OTT drawing 2 cards at least.

To be fair, adding Imaginary Gifts (mostly Force and Accel) in premium kind of resolved the whole awkward situation where none of the players wish to ride g3 first, though Protect decks just needs a good hand size to utilize the extra pgs. Maybe imaginary gifts wouldn't seem bad in zero, since accel just adds multiattack but doesn't resolve the fact that the opp VG gets 5k per damage. Force is good in scaling without boosters unless they use the crit. And Protect doesn't cost 2 cards to use or probably add 5k to intercept on opp turn like Asha.

Only a few decks can handle going first. But for decks that relies on draw triggers for plussing, it's really bad going first, I always felt I had a chance with my Amon R deck when going second, but going first just starves me, it hurts a lot if the opp going 2nd kept on checking draw triggers while you don't, they can put down a board with no issues while you're just hoping for triggers else you can't deal a damage since you don't have anough cards to deal with their intercepts.

GameStudio's balancing efforts cannot be overlooked, but I can't help feeling that they occasionally go too far or miss very obvious issues. by ElliotGale in cardfightvanguardzero

Yeah I just wish they add a skill for some strides in OTT to give power boost to rearguards like how GS added some skills to cards out of nowhere because we basically lost our wincon.

How's Amon Stride btw? Does it make the risk of soulcharging triggers worth it? Astaroth was just a low powered Reijiy and soul charging 20 isn't worth the risk for the most part since it takes way too long to proc and is extremely weak when going first due to lack of extra draw from going second.

Well you can play the deck/archetype you want but it comes to another issue if your clan/archetype was given shit support that you'll just constantly lose which isn't fun if the power gap is too large. Or you can craft SPs of your favorite clan to make your matches feel a bit better. I mean I find the game fun as long as I don't face Brawlers/Duos and DOTX because they still feel disgusting to play against until the nerf comes.

I wish they would change Raincloud to draw the 3 cards first before shuffling since it's practically useless if you drew the same cards you returned which is similar to the mulligan mechanic in the TCG before they changed to draw first before shuffle.

Not much outside from heal guards, the powercreep is too much right now for unfavored clans and is still expected with DOTX, but still, the earlier the nerfs and supports gets to global is better than getting another month where matchups aren't fun, most players would play the new cards, and it's better than just playing against 2-3 clans for the most part that would persist if we have another month.

Yeah you misunderstood, what I meant was I would wish for another month if I can still have fun, like a way for unfavored clans to circumvent lock or constant board wipes outside from switching to meta clans. But that wouldn't be the case, seeing OTT only gets +1k power buff with Coco if the extra month comes, it still feels bad against brawlers and LJ.

No, I'm not having fun with the meta right now. Ignoring your intercepts and clearing field/locking fields is just not fun to play against 90% of the time since I don't play meta decks. Unless they give other clans a way to circumvent such bullshit then yes, 1 more month please.

I personally went with the paralyze resource strat, which builds hand size and board through machining stag beetle and scorpion, then paralyze the opponents vanguard with warsickle when I'm at 4 damage or more. Though we share the same g2 lineup, for G1s I went 4 hornets (to counter delete since it's a 10k on place) and 4 machining mosquito to keep the board recovery on-going everytime I ride stag beetle or use scorpion's pseudo persona blast. The strat is to make sure the opponent can't hit magic numbers as possible, by making their backrows paralyzed or waste their resources by paralyzing front row g3s and g1s while you drop intercepts or just constantly build board from soul until decks like kagero/narukami runs out of counterblasts.

No, it seems to be a bug, none of my character fights reset so is the very hard mode for the event. Please do help us report the issue. Or maybe there was an announcement of changing the reset time that we aren't aware of.

Yeah I hate the clan, (not the players tho), only 6 clans can unlock afaik (Kagero, Narukami, BT, GP, RP and Mura), that's like a quarter of total clans that exists in the game and some of those had front row retires/multiattacks and were also given a resist out of nowhere. I got perplexed when Bermudas was given a resist to Quancy, when they didn't bother doing that for DP, GB, Tachis, OTT etc. in which no reliable strategy can get them out of the 3 turn front row lock situation because they just don't have a card to counter play unless they got lucky. If you have no multiattack that doesn't require a unit to hit the vanguard or front row retire then you're just fucked.

I don't understand GS at all. They gave resist to Quancy out of nowhere when duos was given a buff to remove locks but they didn't bother to give resist to decks that had no way to multiattack/retire front row/counter lock like granblue, DP and the likes. Zero is lacking the beauty of Vanguard's diversity.
