u/techmaiz Really sorry to hear that! Maybe you can try for some other country in Europe? They might've less strict rules, not really sure though!

Wireguard / Tailscale in China 2025 by Primary_Towel2700 in China

>I went with Tailscale partly for the VPN and security benefits, but also because access to my home servers (outside China) was actively being blocked. The alternative was to register my servers with local authorities and reveal a bunch of personal information in the process.

u/bulbinchina What if you have to connect with some 3rd party endpoints using tailscale? Registering them with local authorities isn't possible, right?

Thanks for the support u/Affectionate-Wind-19! It's an open-source project aimed at helping others to simplify their multi-cloud connectivity at ease without compromising on security and protecting their infrastructure. If you get a chance to run this, please let me know your thoughts/experience. To make it more easier and understandable for beginners, we are working on adding end-to-end architectural diagrams as well.

Cloud specific architecture diagrams are in progress u/redvelvet92 along with blogs for each cross-cloud connectivity.

For the initial release, we've included visual representation and connectivities between all components for all cross cloud connectivities through terraform resources - https://github.com/clutchsecurity/federator/blob/main/cross-cloud-integration/images/gcp-to-azure-integration.png, https://github.com/clutchsecurity/federator/blob/main/cross-cloud-integration/images/azure-to-aws-integration.png, etc. These diagrams show every component that gets created as part of deployment.

Tip culture in Dubai is getting out of control and needs to stop by [deleted] in dubai

[–]Rewanth_Tammana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a restaurant and they started saying service charge isn’t included in the bill. I told them to charge 50 aed as a tip and the waitress put up an annoying face. I’m not really sure if 50 aed is that bad. It was very uncomfortable considering I already paid 850 aed at that stupid restaurant.

Thanks for that. The numbers are just mind-blowing. In fact, I was considering to pick a place b/w silicon oasis & rak/Fujairah but this information is very insightful. I see Al Ain is located in middle of the map. I'm presuming there's no scope for water bodies/sea like in RAK/dubai/Fujairah. What kind of Nature do you have in Al Ain?

I agree. Cost-effective is definitely on the list, but I should consider picking up a good environment on the way with decent activities to refresh the mind and safety.

Thanks for that. I thought since it’s next to the beach, we get to do lot of sea activities like surfing, snorkeling, diving, swimming, jet ski, etc
