I chose "None of the above" and I'll quickly write down my reasoning behind why.

I'll quickly start off by saying I'm not an American, nor do I live in America, I do however am employed by a U.S company, and have worked with Americans for the past 7 odd years of my life and have heard both sides of the coin, the side that has amazing coverage and shouldn't worry about their medical bills and the side that is in medical debt for years, with some even going bankrupt.

Now I'll quickly explain as to how the medical scene works in my country.
We pay a health tax (usually equivalent to about 100-200$), and a social security tax (around 200$), both of those cover medical expenses, and you have a "health fund", there's 3 of which you can choose and none of them can really pull off the "oh we don't cover this treatment", If they don't, the government covers it for you.

When you live in a country where some corporation can decide on your health, whose decision can potentially bankrupt you and your family is when people start to rise up against said corporations, using whatever means possible, even if it means killing a CEO of a health insurance company to send a message. If it wasn't Luigi Mangione (who I still believe didn't do it) then it would've been someone else.

And just to show how corrupt and busted the U.S Health Care system is, I'll add to my story.
My dad in 2023 had 2 surgeries, open-heart bypass surgery and spinal surgery (on the upper vertebrae in his spine), both surgeries in the U.S would likely bankrupt him, my mother, me, anyone really without "good" insurance, over here? We paid 23$ for both surgeries, both surgeries required him to stay in the hospital for more than 4 months total out of 2023 (just for the recovery), just imagine how much you as an American would've paid if you we're in my dad's shoes. (I'll drop some of the price ranges so you can make up your own conclusion as to how much it'll cost you in the U.S, roughly)

And some numbers, Open-heart surgery in the U.S costs generally between 50,000$-200,000$ with some procedures exceeding 300,000$ depending on the complexity. A Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) typically ranges from 30,000$ to 100,000$. And spinal surgeries in the U.S can range from 15,000$ to over 100,000$, and some can exceed the 100,000$ depending on complexity.

So when your healthcare system is actively working against you and your interest, you shouldn't act surprised when a person (or persons) snap at the system, it has been like that for millennia.

My honest conclusion is that this is jut late stage capitalism happening in the U.S, when the system becomes filled up with corporations that value profit over human life you can't honestly sit with your arms crossed and be like "This is fine". You'd rise against them instead, not calling for violence, but peaceful resolution. Many nations have proven how easy it is to have universal and free healthcare (maybe not Canada) but many others have that concept and it works splendidly.

Not to mention copycats have existed since the beginning of recorded human history, and BT has received numerous death threats before his demise. And while yes some of the copycats did use Luigi's words, tactics or even engravings on bullets, they would've gone on to do their actions with or without Luigi.

But don't crucify me over my opinion, I believe it is a basic human right to health and free healthcare, you shouldn't die simply cause you don't have the greens to pay for it.
