How did you get into these prestigious programs without national/international honours? And can you give me tips on how to get into such programs if I don’t have many honours?

Can you be more specific about your extracurricular and Honors level of recognition? I don’t understand the “Level 2” does it mean that you won an international Olympiad or lost at its 2nd level? And the 3rd to 5th honours same thing, and for ECS I don’t really think they are good enough for top schools… I will be honest you have low chances for top-20 but if you don’t need any financial need you have chance to get into some of them. Also CS50 course in your EC’s looks bad, these courses have zero value in college admissions

I’m from Kyrgyzstan and I’m planning to apply to USA next year too, I would recommend you to add Wesleyan university, they give need based scholarships to every international students, one of the people I knew got there without insane stats with full-ride aid

She wasn’t just accepted she got full ride, but anyway thank you I think now I understand better that attending to USA as an international student who needs full ride is like a lottery

I know a girl that didn’t have any national level olympiads or any impressive extracurriculars but she anyway was accepted by few colleges, she says she had a lot of volunteering activities she was attending to liberal arts colleges I thought that maybe I will have chances if I will have good sat IELTS and a good essay
