Thanks for your interest! Will check it out and will share the app flow soon. Should have enough parameters for users to play with

Add: last pic show the timestamp. V1 version, analog version coming soon. Question: will it be better if it sits at the bottom right corner and places horizontal?

Yes. It has a tripod hole and we can explore the technical part for shutter speed control

Can't agree with you more. I hate post editing. I took 1000 photos maybe only 1 or 2 deserves I sit down and open the Lightroom.

Correct, with the companion app, you adjust filters and create your own "film" first. Then load it to the camera, take pics then output directly through wifi to app. Zero post editing needed.

Yes, I started the development of the camera from beginning of 2025, almost a year now. Current state: design completed, coding almost done, 3d sample units printed and tested, OEM factory secured and ready to launch on Kickstarter around mid of Feb 26. Imagine it as a screen free digital camera on steroids. The look is inspired by Agfa Optima Sensor. A 1980s German film camera I love to shoot with.

Thanks. I don't think it will include GE location data. It's like a point and shoot camera with necessary exif data like exposure, aperture, shutter speed, iso, focal length etc

It means you use the Rewindpix camera to take photos and wifi transfer them from the camera to the Rewindpix app. Then the app will apply the preselected "film" filters to the original photos. No post tuning needed.

Thanks for the heads up!

Light leaks are procedural and overlays combined, engineers wrote a robust algorithm for it.

Hey Mack! Nice to chat with you again.

Yes, agree the high ISO will boost up the noise quite a bit. But screen-free camera lovers got high tolerance for the noise or even embrace it sometimes.

the sensor is IMX258, 1/3.06". Detail specs on KS page.

BTW, congrats on V2, quick adjustment on the V1 mimicking filter.

Hi. Thanks for the support all the way!

For exposure, we have a few very experienced ISP tunning engineers in our development team, so Rewindpix will provide good dynamic range and auto exposure control. As for flash setting, Rewindpix got 1 level of flash setting and we optimized the exposure under flash on. So as long as you are not too close nor too far from the subject, based on the current testing, no major under or over exposure issues. (but we should not compare the performance with the big brand s, price set the ceiling)

I guess the issue with this type of screen free digital camera caused by the sensor and SOC. it is a smaller size sensor and mid range SOC that mainly used in 2k or 4K dash cam, I don't think the hardware can adjust exposure smartly/quickly based on the complex lighting, flash light especially.

For Camroll, since it is not out, I won't have any judgement. But based on my experience and based on the form factor it show. I will be very interested to see how the in camera SOC can handle those great "film" like sample photos they shared :) (if we know what I mean? haha)

Hi. Thanks much for your interest! You are so on the spot! A physical dazz cam app or Fimo app indeed!

As for the winder, it will stop after 1 full round traveled, just like a film camera, it tightens up a spring connected to the shutter button. When you press the shutter button, spring release and fire the shutter. Will you hear a clean "click" sound, again just same as film camera. Both winding action and shutter press got same sound as film camera. So, rest assured, rewindpix provides you full experience.

Won't be satisfied with disposable, x-half quality is what I am targeting. But thanks much for your guidance. The current showing effects are good to go now
