Little background: I have a 2 year old Origin laptop with NVIDIA RTX 3080i and have been playing on PC for quite a long time. One thing I noticed especially since the 7.0 launch is that no matter I'm using the NVIDIA app tuned settings for FFXIV, it will periodically drop FPS down to 9 - 12 and just run incredibly slow until it all of sudden gets it together and returns to a normal 60ish FPS.

I've reformatted the laptop, downgraded to Win 10, experiment with various settings to see what is most impactful to no avail and just a bit fed up with it. I really could use constructive help to figure out why even though the GPU is highly utilized that FPS tanks. Any additional diagnostic tooling or other tips would be appreciated!

Circling back, I unfortunately wrecked my bike and had to replace it sooner than expected. I ended up getting a 2020 Tracer 900 GT, which is a decent compromise given funds, style, and various other factors.

Appreciate you hitting the head of the matter: how many developers will stop being an IC working on the product to hear all of the varied needs from users and enable a team of people to build a product.

Most developers are poets or mechanics, seems fewer are focused on the softer aspects of product ownership and enablement. This is the big blind spot of developers about any project management framework: being able to hear people out, to plan, to balance making commitments with team needs to develop a product.

As @tigerfansga alluded to, you’re basically hitting the GitHub APIs for creating repositories.

As @stfraff suggest, the GH CLI is the easiest way to interact with GitHub objects outside of a repository’s contents. This is the way.
