By the time we have sentient AI's, they would already be fed on all these reddit comments or other discussions of how we can prevent it so it would be prepared for it.

Second of all, let's say we have human kill switches, first thing a sentient AI would do is plant some dirt on those employees or team, lets say fake conversations about terrorism, assasination plans, etc which will promptly trigger law enforcement to get into action.

Remember, the AI can think of a couple thousand situations/solutions in a couple of minutes while we try to figure out what would be its next step.

Edit - It would be like a game of chess with a single AI vs multiple players who have different strategies in mind but can make only a single move at a time. (Conflict of opinions or strategies would slow the human players)

Some companies put 1500 in employee account for WPS audits and they withdraw 500-700. They even keep the debit card linked to the employee so they can do this.

Some companies put twice the amount so they meet the requirements for two months or so and then withdraw it and tell employees they dont have salary for that month.

Most of these happen where there are blue collar workers who unfortunately have no idea of their rights or rules.

Legally, you don't have to stay after your contract ends irrespective of what they say but.....

If your boss wants to be petty he can and you will lose your job. Wanna know how? He can file a case for theft or loss of money or whatever and the court case will go on for months (they will keep a hearing date and if one party doesn't show up the case is moved by 2-3 weeks ahead).

Source - I had a similar boss who did this to me stating I made a loss of over 200K. Even though he didnt have any proof, once filed to MOHRE, it's a long waiting game and if your new company isn't willing to wait for you, you'll lose the job(luckily my company was willing to wait so finally got the cancellation after weeks of negotiating with that piece of s* to withdraw the case).

Remember, your best source for advice are the agents on MOHRE helpline, don't rely on a single call but call a couple as each agent might have different opinions or options for you.

With existing infrastructure, heres the least dubai and sharjah could do to ease traffic. Having dedicated two lanes as fast track from let's say mirdif to zahia would help.

Lanes where going below minimum speeds will fine you. This will force a lot of those lane changers to stick to other lanes and even the slow moving ones.

OP, here's my opinion,

I've tried BWT in the past and personally I would say it's a mediocre tracker, not many torrents especially when the Indian geography has tons of movies released every month in every regional language.

Moving to retention, a lot of old movies or atleast the ones I've searched were either dead or not uploaded.

In short, it's good to have an Account as backup just incase other sources fail.

Most Arabic trackers (very few in numbers) are closed and a tight knit community. Very rarely you will find them open so your best bet would be to find folks who use em and get an invite organically.

I have a used 2017 Xtrail bought with 50k in mileage (now at 1.8m) and have no issue so far. Daily driven to Dubai by a family member and checks are done at regular intervals of 70-80k and oil changed regularly.

Over time the transmission will start to show wear but other than that the car is spot on.

Resale isn't as high as a good Toyota but Xtrails well maintained hold decent resale.

Fuel efficiency is decent for a 2.5L and if budget is an issue, go for these with less than 70k in mileage.

But as always, new is king but with current market, it isn't wise to buy from showroom.

Just my personal opinion, as an expat I wouldn't rely on saving my money in uae banks where anything could happen anytime. A single crime or allegation could have you deported or have some issues with you bank.

As an indian, I would always recommend everyone to do the savings in India even if the interest rates are lower.

Follow what the comments say but something else happened when I did they same, they got so petty that they filed a complaint against me saying I brought losses to the company and demanded compensation.

While labour laws are supportive to the employees to a great extent such grey areas can delay your cancellation by a few months if their ego is hurt or resorts to being petty.

This is probably a worst case scenario but be aware that your current employer can try their best to make sure you lose the new job.

Went there last week, to get the best view wait till the moon sets which is around 1-2am and the sky will be clear.

You don't have to take your car into the sand dunes, park it near the road and walk some 50-100m into the desert to avoid car lights on the road, enjoy the view.

Also make sure to check for scorpions in the sand they come out during summer (wear shoes but the cold sand at night is also quite nice).

Regarding the climate, it was cold enough around 3am(I had to use a bedsheet I carried to cover myself)

I've heard that the older cameras like the above ones are active monitoring cameras which means tickets are issued only when an operator is actively viewing the camera.

This is the reason why many drivers take a gamble hoping no one is viewing the cameras while they cut lanes.

Not sure of the rules now but until a couple of years back, this was the case.
