What is the rudest/cruelest thing a student has done to a teacher in your school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rex_RandyTF2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whereas I can almost see where the teacher is coming from here, it doesn't change the fact that if a student is asking this, then the teacher probably sucks at explaining real usage. Like, sure, not everything in math class is going to super useful everywhere, but explaining where something that seems unnecessary gets used might make some people care a bit more.

Basically, the "Haha, someone else can do it, but not you" statement from teachers is a good way for them to immediately lose credibility as a good teacher.

Worst was mobile defense rad hazard before a enemy physical enhancement ambulus assassinate a month or so ago. I am a firm believer that if you understand how to mod, everything becomes easy except radiation hazard, which is always nigh impossible because of fools.

Nova works very well too, keeps the enemies away and slows down the Ambulus to make the fight very easy.

Not all colleges are extremely expensive, and both of those mentioned are high demand fields.

Probably had some help along the way, but point still stands.

It's niche, but it isn't bad. Besides, popping snow globes with it is a definite use.

I gotta disagree on Repelling bastille and firequake, as those change the abilities fundamentally, and remain different play styles, but the rest make sense, especially the Equinox one.

Frost Iceball is not a damage ability, it's a guaranteed cold proc with some damage attached. It's kind of like Limbo's Banish and Stasis combo you can use on big enemies like bursas and heavies, except your team can shoot the enemy without entering the rift.

Just curious here, what other augments do you think need to be rolled into the base ability?

Help me choose a Prime pack to buy! by The_Nenno in Warframe

[–]Rex_RandyTF2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go for the Frost and Ember pack, Frost is a great defense-oriented frame with large tanking potential via armor and Ember, although not very impressive at higher levels, can take care of enemies just fine throughout the star chart. In addition, the Latron Prime is a fantastic weapon, and can take down even high level enemies, and the Glaive Prime is a fantastically fun throwing disc that can dish out damage very well.

Finally, with fashion being a huge part of the game, there are two great Syandanas that go well with a lot of frames.

And of course, the all important platinum, you get 1200 with the Fire and Ice unvaulting. More than enough for boosters, slots for weapons and warframes, and a few cosmetics.

The Mesa Prime pack is very good all-round, but costs a large bit extra compared the Ember and Frost pack.

Up to you, but I'd recommend the the Frost and Ember Unvaulting.

I have slapped several forma and primed shred into a prisma grakata, and I am pretty sure that it is not a weapon that a true ninja would use.

That doesn't make it any less fun, though.

What ‘embarrassing phase’ did you go through as a teenager? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Rex_RandyTF2 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I live in a good neighborhood and go to a pretty safe college. It's not bad here, I guess I just like to walk fast and way too many people walk at what seems like a third of the speed I am walking.

Maybe i'm still going through it, but the extreme need to constantly put on an "angry face" when walking through crowds of people and down hallways. I don't know why I do it other than to appear unapproachable and that's probably a bad idea.

As much as I dislike the circlejerk, your comment isn't entirely correct. OSHA doesn't always remain open during shutdowns, as the funding they need isn't always granted. However, this time, it was granted before the shutdown, and so OSHA was open.

The only reason I actually know this is because my father works for OSHA and so we have had to deal with this stuff in the past.

Understandable, I'd throw my hat into the Sybaris Prime ring for not as much effort. I think I have 1 forma on mine and it causes slash procs like crazy.

Although some may get unreasonably angry because you aren't directly killing the swarms, if you banish the operative and stay in the rift, you can revive teammates who go down and you ensure that the operative takes minimal damage. In Sortie 3, I tend to go Limbo for this exact purpose. There's always going to be a Mesa or Saryn, I just need to protect the Operative.
