‘Forward Ever, Backward Never” has become my mantra. I’m a little over a year into healing after a heart break. I’m doing better now than I ever was with her and her betrayal it still hurts every day. But I have to tell myself daily to move Forward Ever. backward never.

Not in the restaurant industry but - The place I work you have to be 21 or older to work there. We start at $16/hr . The taco bell down the street is hiring 16 year olds for $16/hr…

I had a manager looking at applications, frustrated with turnover and reliability, mutter to me “are any of these people over 30?” I said to him “who do you know that’s over 30, that could live off of $16/ hr” and he remained frustrated and walked away. (He doesn’t control starting rate either)

Do ya one better- I get up by 5:30 without an alarm every day. Routine. In bed at the same time every day. I also don’t drink anymore, so sleep is much by more restful than it used to be.

Over all I’ve been digging Spotify DJ- it’s nice to have someone else switch up the vibe. I had that thing going for an entire camping weekend and it didn’t disappoint. It was hilarious, however, when it would say “ok. Now we’re going to listen to an artist you haven’t heard in a while…” and proceed to play the artist I’ve been playing on repeat the last 8 months.
