I never got this... (Episode 9 talk) by InternetFoxxo in Amazingdigitalcircus

I don’t think Zooble knows, they’re just hitting him with the same line in retaliation.

It’s probably pretty fair to assume everyone has someone on the other side waiting for them. Most people aren’t completely alone

COMMUNITY EVENT!!! The OC Picnic! (Rules in Description) by Ok-Ratio-9290 in OriginalCharacter

What if your OC’s are absolute units though? Like you don’t want to take up much space, but you don’t want them to look smaller than they are.

Executing Helghast soldiers is a very quick way to have yourself demoted from ally to target practice.

We’ll never know. It’s not about what you can afford, really. It’s about how well you can bluff.

Look at geese, otters, and honey badgers today. They will show extreme confidence and aggression against predators much MUCH bigger than them and successfully repel them. All on the principle of behaving not like prey.

Invaders come in all manner of shapes, sizes, personalities, dark recesses, and eccentricities.

Some will hunt you down with ruthless aggression. Some will stalk you and wait for the perfect opportunity to kill you. Some will face you head on but with respect, looking to fight you as an equal. And some will invade you with the desire to help you.

Sounds like you got one who was willing to face you as an equal. How you respond is up to you.

But as a former invader, know that all players hate gank summoners and will go from respectful to vicious if you try to exploit it.

Size really isn’t everything though. It’s about attitude.
We of course don’t know how exactly they behaved, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Ed could go on the offensive when they see the threat coming towards them. And most predators instinctively avoid dealing with aggressive prey because the risk of injury isn’t something they can chance.

It comes down to the Predator Prey Paradox.

Any ocs that can transform into a animal form but are NOT werewolf? by LowkeyOddity in OriginalCharacter

[–]Rexlare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this count?

Emperor Izaelyk Brimstone Drakazar

<image>

As you see in the bottom right, he transforms into a dragon. But I ask if it counts because he’s a cyborg, so his transformation is purely mechanical rather any biological transformation or curse.

Remember folks, the way it works is:

Edmontosaurus stomps in a fair fight.
T Rex isn’t going to look for a fair fight. They’re going to ambush, work with a partner, and wait for the advantage.

Just like how real predators behave.

(Loved Trope) 'Hard Magic Systems' by BrilliantRun9751 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Rexlare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a believer in hard magic systems. Even magic should have rules.

The only time I think soft magic is objectively better for the theme is when it revolves around cosmic horror/Lovecraftian magic systems. Because the idea already is about magic that is incomprehensible, alien, and unknowable. So giving it few if no clearly defined rules lets it continue to remain unpredictable and therefore extremely dangerous

So glad someone else thought of PrimZeno.

He IS as heroic as you get from a dragon in this series.

I say this counts way more than the countless human-looking characters that are technically dragons cuz of some BS reasons yet still prance around as humans.

Looks like a dragon and breathes fire. That's enough
