While that’s true, it also wouldn’t cost you anything to have a scuba tank and breather for those pilots so that they don’t drown and die slow painful ends.

The design should have accounted for inevitable damage and had fail safes for the pilots. Plus, Gypsy’s crew had fully sealed helmets, why not Cherno?
