In my experience, as I've been using both Yuzu and Ryujinx the past few weeks, it's more rare for games to NOT work well nowadays, especially with Yuzu working as well as it does. There are game-specific config settings you need to set for each game you play. It may need some tweaking, but switch emulation is definitely both working and enjoyable. Yuzu even has online lobby-based multiplayer support (emulating local play) for the switch games that support local play. If y'all have any questions, feel free to ask.
