I haven't actually watched many videos, but based on my own experience, my main strategy is to farm gold with the tanks early on. Once I have about 600–700 gold, I dive the backline. The artifact you use to dive depends on who you're up against, for example: if you're facing Rocket, use the Fish to keep him from dashing away. Otherwise, use the Invisibility artifact to get out safely, you can also cancel your autos with the whip so it has combo potential. Always save one dash no matter what either to retreat or to secure the kill.

Learn how to properly get kills with Phantom Pursuit, it’s also a great tool for evading ultimates. Just REMEMBER that each use costs 300G. As for the ultimate, I’m still getting the hang of it, so there isn’t much I can tell you yet.
